Video of Cutlass 455 on dyno

Took my Cutlass to Straightline Performance in New Lenox Ilinois to see what it would put down on the rollers. The Mustang Dyno's numbers are less than a Dynojet as they are more accurate to real world applications. Still happy with what the car made. To the tire it put down 347 HP, 459 Torque. Oh yeah, listen to the first pull closely. The car is spinning the tires in 4th gear. We got a laugh out of that one. The reason for the squiggly lines is because the tire wasn't hooking.

Here is the sheet:

I like it!

Tell us about that camshaft package, and the engine build.

I also had mentioned before that an M-22 would be awesome.

LOL I watched the video in your signature and I'm thinking... I know that liquor store! I live off Rt6 and Gougar.

Nice car, hope to see you cruising next year.

Well thank you. The car has a 10.25 to 1 compression 455 with Edelbrock heads stock from the box, Holley 780 DP, Hooker headers, MSD 6A, Air Gap intake, Cam is 520/523 duration @.050 230/236 Check out the dyno run. It puts down 347 hp to the tire and 459 peak torque.
Mr Nick, I usually go to Tinley on Friday night, Bell road on Saturday. Hope to see you out there.
Whenever 66 has a test and tune I go there as well. I didn't run the car with the fresh motor and all. I am afraid I will break the trans with a sticky tire too.
Joe, I am looking into a Keisler/Tremec TKO 5 or 6 speed for next year. More gear if that happens!

If you haven't decided on one I offer you this review of the TKO 600. It is thorough and if it can handle this guys stuff...you should be just fine! Hell, it even makes me want one and I don't have a 4 speed car.

That guy has some badass stuff. How about that Camaro burying the needle? Or the 70mph burnouts! Great review, leads me to beleive I need a Tremec. TY.
