Spectator turnout was very light for today's local parade, which disappointed me. The folks who did come out showed their support though. Typical cool gray November day so weather wasn't an issue. I guess folks have other things to do.

Local VVA chapter, both American Legion posts, the VFW post and our SCV camp participated with floats. Plenty of old cars and a couple of fire trucks carrying veterans too. Yet the local middle and high school bands didn't.

As long as SOMEONE remembers...

If you see a Vet out and about today, thank him or her and maybe buy them a meal. Let them know their service is appreciated.

 

Service veterans, Thank You! Dad was in Pacific theater, WW2. I split my Naval service of 26 years total. Again, thank you to all who served!

I was out of town this weekend at a Veterans Day Car Show in Bastrop, Texas that we go to every year. Thanks to all who served.
