Unclaimed money

Actually found something on the unclaimed money website today. Old check from Microsoft. I check about once a year...but never thought it would turn up anything. Cool.

Why waste time checking that website. The kind people of Nigeria will send you emails directly when there's unclaimed money, and they are talking tens of millions of dollars.

The State of Michigan has a link on their site for unclaimed money, unclaimed tax refunds etc. and a process for getting it (proof, I.D. addresses).

The State of Massachusetts gives you 6 years to claim the money, and after that time, the funds go into the States general fund, and you cannot ever recover it. They don't ever attempt to notify you, and it is up to you to find it. Once you find that they have your money, they make you jump through many hurdles to get the money. In short, the State gets your money the old fashioned way, THEY STEAL IT!!!!!!

Certainly you aren't suggesting that I'm that gullible. This is real. State owned databases.

Click on the state that is participating or search Google for your state and unclaimed property. Just make sure it is the official state website.

I had some unclaimed money from a complicated tax return from Mississippi when I had to work down there. Got $138.

Will you please stop being so serious. I'm not being not serious either.

At any rate, I didn't search for your winnings Joe. You'll have to tell us what your Nigerian friends have sent you. And it better be big because you need another Olds in your collection.

I'm not gullible enough to check and see if it isn't .

Have you checked to see if "fratitudism" is in the dictionary?
