Some fun with the sun.
Tomorrow depending what spot of the rock you reside an alignment of the Earth, Moon and Sun will occur.

Hopefully nobody is "blinded by the light." Make sure you wear your PPE!

Momma was just mentioning this. We'll have to let the kiddos see it with Dad's welding mask.

Fun stuff different ways to see without looking up and casting it's shadows would be kinda neat to have set up also Kids will get a kick out of it ... doesn't happen everyday so a neat learn too.

There won't be much to see on the Right coast - Left coast will be good viewing.

Clouds and rain forecast for the Middle Border area along VA/NC state line.😠

We've already cancelled our Ruritan Club's annual memorial motorcycle ride tomorrow, and several other good events have also cancelled. Weather can always mess things up this time of year.

If you're in the Central VA area, the Appomattox Railroad Festival is still on far as I know. The Traveling Vietnam Wall will be there Saturday and Sunday.

Looked like a pretty narrow band by the description of viewing. Oregon state to Texas for the fullest covering, but it sounded like it is visible country wide, hard to notice unless looking for it. Looks like your time could be between Noon and 2pm.
Between 10:30am and 1:30pm for Wisco

During the last solar eclipse I was traveling back home and landed right at eclipse time. Mom had some paper plates in back of her van so we made a pinhole projector and watched the eclipse in the airport parking lot. Very easy and actually gave a good image of the event.

I viewed it using my welding helmet, only thing was, the batteries were dying so it would work sporadically but a really cool show none the less.

Lunar eclipse

It passed right through this area, was so busy at work, that completely missed it.

No I couldn't. The auto darken feature was very sporadic and a few times it was like looking at the sun with just dark glasses when it wouldn't work, not good.

Overcast here all day

Neat set up Kenneth, thanks for sharing the pictures.

Here are some taken around the continent. I like the cast shadow ones, pretty unique.
