Sending my contribution to this thread.
This "tattoo" is applied to a piece of wood courtesy of the sun and a magnifying glass.
I made this when I was probably 12-13 yrs old during a camping trip with our family in Wisconsin, and was apparently pretty bored at the time.
That was one chunk of wood that didn't make it into the campfire.
Maybe it should have(?).

I made this in '06 from a 4' outdoor table frame, 16 gauge steel stitched in and all the necessary hanging/reinforcement provisions. All of the paint is DuPont Imron, and all of the art is done by hand and sealed down with a coat of clear. I used up close photos of the real deal as my blueprint. Hopefully pretty soon we will have a proper shop to start enjoying it, until then it resides in my closet.. I'ts hard to justify the cost of a real sign, I'd rather spend the money on the cars themselves.
