Super Stoked!
It's mine! Mine I tell ya!
Did a little refiguring on the mortgage.
Seems this month I paid $409.00 over this month.
20 months early, it's paid for!
What a great feeling guys. I just had to share.

I here you Retro. I went ahead and
built my little shop out of pocket with
the exception of a $8000 signature note
on a two year from another banker I do buis. with.
It didn't hurt that my son in law builds
metal buildings for a living. He was able to
get me the contractor price for materials
and him and I put it up. It's 20X30 with a loft.

Thanks guys. I feel very blessed.
We have been doing a little remodeling
over the years and our master bed-bath
are the last to do. My wife is ready too.
May have to wait to start throwing extra at the 66.

Super! I just received my mortgage discharge last month from the county with banks signature of release! All of the Oldsmobiles are have been paid in full for years, usually I get sick of paying and pay them off in about a year or so.
So no mortgage and only one car payment for the 2014 Impala, not to bad for 45 years young!

Congratulations. That's awesome.
we are in process of buying a house in Daly City CA, it's a suburb of San Francisco. I am getting a "good deal" at 750k, I figure since I am 36 now I will never be able to say it's mine.

[QUOTE=oldcutlass;708514]Well done, I have not had a house payment for 10 years, and no payments what so ever for 6, it's awesome. Now is the time to start socking away for your retirement. BTW nice place you got there.[/QUOTE
Interesting... what is this "retirement" of which you speak?

Thanks again guys!
Now is the time to think about
socking some away.
If it weren't for that 140X75 commercial
lot I bought in town about 12 yrs ago.
Now maybe I can improve that for some REAL
retirement income...
Old yeller may have to wait a little longer Dave.
Little red is perfect for right now. Well...
Maybe a 455 and a 2004R. The engine is
ready, the trans is from a 87 GNX that needs
to be rebuilt. Hmmm....

Its a moment to be proud.
Mrs.71 and I did the 15yr. loan swap a few years back. Couldn't of been any smarter in the timing of things. Enjoy, the financial freedom it brings. Thumbs UP Tru.
