The high temperature in Phoenix hit 102 Thursday and is expected to drop to 98 on Friday and 89 by Monday, with no additional 100-degree days in the forecast.

Thursday’s high temperature was the 141st 100-degree day of the year

Between June and August, Phoenix reported 50 days with a high temperature of at least 110 degrees
