No way!
GM door lock ***** in the 70s had a shoulder that allowed thieves to use a wire coat hanger to unlock the door from the outside. My dad; Oldsguy, had a 76 Cutlass stolen this way. If you have a 70s GM car, please change your door lock *****!

The slimjim is readily available anywhere, it replaced the coat hanger years ago. I assure you changing the ***** is not the answer. Its unfortunate that todays society shops for other peoples property, I recently had a pedal car/plane that I restored stolen off my porch here in the middle of rural nowhere.

My wife had her 85 442 stolen from the school parking lot where she worked. The bastards pulled the window out enough to open the door with the indoor handle. Took it joy riding until it ran out of gas then slung mud into the interior to obliterate finger prints and left it in a muddy field. I did retrieve it and had it detailed and then installed a kill switch after the horse got out of the barn.
