I worked with a fellow that bought one new.(Yugo) Drove the heck out of it and certainly got his money out of it. Everything else has shamefully became a throwaway product when major repairs are needed.(TVs, appliances etc.) A 6K car used to get someone to and from a job and run errands for a couple of years wouldn't be any different. I wish them success and hope it ain't costing someones' tax money. The investor risk is exactly that, a risk.

Ha, a go fund me page for a auto industry. HMM, maybe with the talent here we should consider our own version.
Seriously, until the drones come on line, might have a place for food delivery or messenger service in the city. You could certainly make your payment delivering pizza.
