Saved a 330 from the scrapper

Well a week ago i picked up a 67 330. I couldnt pass up the deal, and the seller was about to scrap it because he couldnt sell it. Well i bought some old gauges from a friend ($20) and went through the scrap bin and built another engine run stand to test it out. Got it all hooked up and ran the motor last night. Cleaned the plugs and changed the oil. Ened up running not bad. I gotta get some more gas. then Im gonna run it some more today. Play with the timing, dwell, and carb to see how good i can get it to run. One really good thing is no knocks, noises, and good oil pressure. But it did have just alittle bit of smoke. Ill take a video clip and post it up today.

Im just having fun with it now. its a cool old motor and its cool that it runs good. Im glad i saved it. I took a long drive to get it. 370 miles round trip.

BTW a guy on ROP is looking for a shipper. What was the name of the company you used for the butlass?

Let me look it up tonight or tommorrow, and I'll give you a call. I heard Slowcord wants the 330, if he bails, let me know what you're asking. Sure it will be less expensive than this 350, besides, I really like 330s.

Thanks i had to get it. Plus i just put a new motor in my truck so it was a good test ride with it.

The engine stand i built out of scrap stuff i have around. I only put about $40 cash into it. And used the battery out of my truck.
