Rockford Files/ Car Show from the past also
Back in the day who did the best reverse turn around in his Pontiac Firebird? Bonus if you have amazon prime watch season 1 episode 1 and you'll be hooked. It is like a car show on wheels, all the classics cruising the streets in California back int he day.

Yep. Rockford Files runs on one of our stations and the wife and I watch often.
As for the reverse J turns, those are just downright classic. Back in the 80s my friends and I talked about them, and these days they are just as awesome as ever. James Garner was a real race car driver and it showed in those episodes.

I watch so many of these old shows for the cars. Chips is a good one. I love 66-67 Riviera's. One of the sexiest bodies built by GM. There is a blue 66/67 that shows up a lot. There is an episode with car thieves and in one scene I swear I saw a red 70 W car in the background. Kojack is a good one too.

It was funny to me to see "The Original James Garner Rockford Files" Firebird get sold. Yeah what number car was that? Anybody with a factory gold 350 Firebird could make that claim. They used what 100 of those cars? That car got beat up so many times. But there was an one right?
Suppose they had the original General Lee and the original Bullit car also.
Although it was super cool to see that original Bullit car show up. No Mustang fan but super cool details proving what that car is after all fakes that people bought into. And payed for.

I don't know much about the others. I know a little about the General Lee. I believe some 300 cars were destroyed in jumps. Several were slapped together out of different years, and they would fly around California in a helicopter looking for them to buy. There were at least 3 "hero" cars that did the close ups and ground driving, and I think there were several set up with cameras for interior shots.
The last time my father and I went to Oldtown in Kissimmee (that's kiss-SIM-mee during the day and KISSME at night), it was very packed. We had to park on the main street instead of the huge parking strip and we had to take shifts watching the car so that people didn't touch it. I yelled at a Puerto Rican kid who put hands on my dad's Corvette and about got into a fight with HIS dad over it. Behind us, doing the same thing with his car, was an Englishman with one of the very first General Lee hero cars. We talked a long time about it. He showed me the cast autographs, and the different font on the original GENERAL LEE title and the crossed Confederate and checkered flag decal and the CB antenna and the smaller, original bump bar. This was 20 years ago, now all that stuff is reproduced.

James Garner. A man's man. Racer, war vet. Great in the TV show and movies. Funny too, Support your local sheriff is just one of many. Red paint on the floor of the jail cell with no bars. Murphy's Romance etc.
Miami Vice. Ferrari Testarossa. The redhead. I drove a red 84 for a short distance. Seat was lower than the same year Corvette. Tied to talk two of my brothers to go in on one. Something like 160,000. They did not like the sharing it idea.
The sound of that engine still plays in my head.

My first car was a gold '73 Camaro Z28, very similar style. Fell in love with it partly because of Jimmy's Firebird. His was an Espirit, wasn't it? Pretty sure I saw that emblem on the downward part of the roof behind the door at least once.
