Loved his acting especially he and Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

One of the top actors during many decades. I caught most of his later films. RIP!

I have to admit...I even liked him in Sneakers.

 

Anyone see him in one of his later films, "All is Lost." From 2013. Great movie, and the thing about is that he is the only one in the movie, and he never talks except at the very beginning in a voice-over narration that gets things started.

The theme of the movie is, whatever can go wrong will go wrong.

 

I seem to recall that being the same theme when I was in the Navy.

 

Excellent movie. He was 77 yrs old & performed most of his own stunts.
