Any RC flyers on here. I was a control line flyer many years ago. Flew combat wings and others. Just bought a beginner RC plane. Came complete and almost ready to fly. Had some assembly to do and charge the battery. I've never had an electric powered plane, so this is new to me. Cheapo from WalMart, made in China, Just over $100 so if it crashes I haven't lost much.

 

I use to be into RC cars as a kid. Never got into planes, it was expensive enough when you wreck a RC car!!

I still have all my RC car stuff, it’s hopelessly outdated, but it still works. Needless to say the batteries are junk, they discharge almost immediately. Occasionally I go into hobby shops and reminisce, maybe I’ll just splurge abd buy some new batteries and act like a 12 year old again.

 

Ive had an interest in RCs forever, but time money other hobbies slowed me down. We have a couple consumer drones that are fun but id like a battery plane to try...sometime in the future! Post up how you like yours!

Several years i went to the RC jet show in Gardner ma. They had larger jets like that and down to ~18” ish wing span.

it was great several jets would fly at once ,stunting flybys smoke.
