I would spend the day lamenting the fact that Oldsmobile stopped making Cutlasses.

We've managed without it since the Island was first inhabited.

You would probably do what they do in Canada, since there is no Thanksgiving in November (it is the 2nd Monday in October). So I would imagine if there was no T-day, it would be just another Thursday...

It would be one more day that I wouldn't get interrupted working in the garage!! Don't know about you guys, but T day is usually a huge family convention. Have to admit, on one hand it's pretty cool spending all that time with family and friends. On the other hand, it can get pretty tedious spending all that time with family and friends. My car never talks back to me and always accepts me for what I have in my hand - which is not usually a turkey drumstick. Sorry to sound cynical, but IMO sometimes the commercialization of what are supposed to be special events gets carried away to the point of frustration and I'm not sure that everyone really gets the point of Thanksgiving anyway. Same with another big Holiday coming up....

I know that feeling. There's no Thanksgiving here, and we no longer buy presents for each other for Xmas - too much of a hassle, really.
