Prom
My son's senior prom was this weekend and we used the Olds for pics at friend's house before the event. He's actually in the back seat in the first pic & sitting on the top at the back in the second. The kids really enjoyed it and my wife took much better photos of all of them than I got with my phone.
He did not want to drive the car to the actual prom (whew!). Our original plan was to use my car and other classics/rods owned by friends to chauffeur them there, but some of the dates were worried about getting windblown since many of the cars lack tops and/or AC. (maybe my son was concerned about his pompadour too ) Plus we had to figure out the logistics of picking them up at the end of the night. We are saving that idea for a less formal event.

Thanks and yes. Still just a driver but think I have the rust bubbles under control for a while. A bit of a long story I'll tell you next time we see each other.
Really a good bunch of kids and several show at least a mild interest in old cars. My son still prefers computers but can do basic maintenance and will learn to do brakes on the car he drives this weekend. Probably a good thing - he will study Computer Science at UT Dallas in the fall.
