Pics; Bucket seats and Torq's
I installed a new set of bucket seats, Procar 90 versions with headrests were the ticket and look like they could have been factory equipment. While I had the camera out I had to keep snapping... The Torque thrusts are 15x8.5, the tires are 255/60/15 in the rear and 215/70/15 in the front.
IMO Torq Thrusts are one of the best wheel designs ever. My other favorite design is the 200s also sold by American racing.
The pro cars seam fairly comfortable. I wish they were wider, but I'm a fairly wide guy so this may not be as much of an issue for others. They are not as comfortable as the seats in my Honda Accord, but they are better than the seats that were in my 91 Z24. I've only done a short trip around the block with it and I'm still playing with the positioning, so my opinion may change.
I installed them using the Procar brand/model specific brackets which I had to purchase separately. They bolted right in and seem to have a fair amount of adjustability built in. I did have to drill holes for the inside mounts to bolt into the floor since my car is a factory bench seat car. My seats came with sliders and they seem to work ok. I hope to find a nice set of OE power buckets someday, but until then these will do.
