1971 in LIMBO 4 NOW

First thing I need to do is cut thru all the GOVERNMENT red tape;
Thursday they sent me a nasty letter instead of the TITLE
Seems that they have decided to tell me that the car was worth $47,200 and that IF I Submit 6.875% of the cooked up price $$## to them as tax on that amount.... They will give me the title

I asked them where they wanted me to deliver the car.... Seems that $47,200 was not an offer to buy the car.. LOL

Although considering the markup Chevelles get over Cutlasses , maybe not that far out of line either...

The hood and blacked out grill have me thinking she is an actual "Heavy Chevy" ?

Good show, watched many seasons of it. Tom Selleck is great.

Out of control, legal extortion. Nice find, I hope that you can find a reasonable solution.

For those unfamiliar "Heavy Chevy's" were the Rallye 350s of Chevelles.

Poo pooed by some back in the day, because they were somewhat more show than go. The 307 version yes but the 402 versions had almost double the hp and moved well.

Coincidently 11971four4two, Hemmings puts its high value at $50,000 currently ...
