Oldsmobile dishes for sale

hi guys not sure where this should go but cleaning out -

I have a ton of old Oldsmobile dishes, GM glasses, GM Mens Club glasses - if any interest let me know - these allegedly came from Oldsmobile Corporate Office Executive Dining room - the story is that they were rescued from the dumpster when Oldsmobile HQ was cleaned out

would like to sell it all as one lot, was thinking $300 but will do individual place settings if need be - want them to go to a good home (or homes)

I think you would have better luck on eBay.

Jeff.
Agree with the eBay suggestion and I would separate them.
I'd be interested in an Olds set, ie 1 dinner Plate, 1 side plate, 1 cup & 1 saucer.
Cheers,...Col

Love the old Globe logo on the coffee cup and saucer. Neat. If you don't sell all as a unit I would be interested in that.

PM sent. I already have a dinner and a salad plate, but always interested in Oldsmobile ephemera like this.

I bought a GM Cafeteria place setting at Carlisle a couple years back- 70s with the blue GM logo. Then found 2 more deeper in the swap meet. My bud says "You gonna get 'em?"

No, because one is a display. Three means I gotta find a fourth so as to have a service.

I sure like the white coffee mug with the Olds Rocket logo! If you do not sell the set, I'd be interested in that one. Please let me know.

thanks for all the interest guys - all PMs received and replied - I will dig this out this weekend and count it up - looks like 11 full sets (5 pc set of dinner plate, salad plate, dessert plate, coffee cup and saucer) + some strays (a mug here and there, the GM glasses, the GMMC glasses)

I was thinking $30 per 5 piece set

I need to count up the glassware as well - lots broke when they originally sent it from Lansing

Tell you what- since I already have a dinner and a salad plate, I'll defer to someone wanting a full place setting so everyone can have a chance at the dishes. Now, if some of the deals don't follow thru, I'm still interested.

And you were thinking this stuff might be hard to move.

16 old Olds logo dining plates

How did you eventually end up selling these? And for how much, if you don't mind me asking.

I've got 8 dessert or bread plates and 8 larger salad or dinner plates with a very old Oldsmobile logo on them and they need to find a good home or homes. They came from the corp office dining room in the 1950s in, I believe, Dearborn, Mich. The logo is the old planet with a ring and the Olds name.

Let me know what ended up happening with your Olds plates. If people here are interested, I can post them on eBay (I realize I'm a first time poster here, so you can have the security of buying through that site w PayPal).

Thanks!

Michael

Hello Michael
I'd be interested. How about creating a new thread sharing the link when you get the ebay auctions created? John
