Olds Show in Olds Alberta 2014
In case you want to take it in, here's some advance news...giving you time to plan. Our Rocket Round Up in Olds takes place on July 19 this year. A few long distance drivers are coming (Vancouver, BC / Denver, CO). Hope some of you can make it.

Welcome back Ken! Just the other day I was thinking that I've not seen one of your posts in a while. I suspect we all get busy with life once in a while, but its nice to come back to the hobby when life slows down. Or maybe in your case the weather warms up!

Hi John, the hobby is my escape, however as you said, life takes over once in a while. One son has left the nest (to Vancouver, BC) and my wife and I are making sure things are panning out for him. His younger brother is getting ready for grade 12 (in Sept) and a new HS football team. Then next year Karen, the three boys and I are off to Greece for a month. Lots to do.

Well, Ottawa to Olds is a long way to go for a show...about 2125 miles. Maybe someday you'll plan it out on a trip to the National Parks (Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Revelstoke, Waterton) that are all within a few hours drive from the show.
