57 T Bird, NOT a replica, powered by a strong 455 Oldsmobile, turbo 350 tranny, Mustang 11 rack & pinion, aluminum radiator with electric fan power steering, power brakes. No rust body, paint has some flaws but a great 10 footer. Hard top only, excellent chrome bumpers, wire wheels, wide white walls. Interior in excellent condition no cracks in dash, brand new under dash heater. Runs great, no oil leaks or smoke. Brand new starter and 820 cold cranking amp battery. Has Thunderbird AM/FM/ cassette , not original, cassette not working. Speedometer ant thermostat gauge currently not working. Car is from California, now in Tucson, AZ. Asking $24,500 OBO.

I drove one with 312 ford and was not impressed

That thing should be fun to drive if steering and brakes are able to handle the 455

the 312 couldn't pull the hat off your head.this one with the olds motor is the only t bird that would interest me.they are a good looking car.

The TBird purist most likely wouldn't like it... But you have to admit, the power of the 455 in that small vehicle must be a thrill... Looks like the 455 fit in the engine compartment quite nicely, almost like it was always meant to be there... Ford may have always claimed they had "A BETTER IDEA", but I doubt they would have saw this coming...
