Hi everyone.

Got home this afternoon and went to get the dogs. New girl at the desk only charged me for one dog to board. If I didn't have any integrity I would let it pass, and I should because I think their prices are too high, but I'll call them tomorrow and tell them to keep it in mind, the dogs will be back soon.

Clint the Mustang is a V6. It drives nice and is comfortable, but I hope I never have to get out of the way of anything quick. Step on the gas and there's a lag worse than a turbo. Another reason I wanted a straight shift. Can Ford do anything to make it not quite so pronounced?

Allan I wasn't fixing things for my Mom per se, she lives with my niece and her husband. They wanted to take down this old gazebo and redo the yard. My niece's husband doesn't have a lot of gumption and got some of it down and had a big pile sitting in the middle of the yard. So I brought my sawzall and cut it all into manageable pieces so he can put it out for the trash. I'm careful not to do too much or he'll expect me to do everything for him.

Tonight will be a quiet night. One minute after we got home my girl went running through the back yard and snagged her leg on an errant branch. Now she can hardly walk. My boy was quick to reacquaint himself with the couch. I might go to Walmart later, have to see how I feel. Work tomorrow.

Have a good evening everyone.

Saturn Day werm? Here boy here boy. Head over ta Jims would ja? He couldn't sleep in dis mawnin an needs a frend.

Was Spoda rain here last night and this mawnin but no sign of it anywhere. Picked up some nice flowers and vines to put some hanging baskets together. That'll help brighten up the yard a bit. What a strange year for weather!

Clint, hope your shed gets done the way you want it. Is it gonna be for storage or contemplation?

Mike, that was nice of you to do that. A V6 should give good fuel economy and decent power. At least my Sonata does. Goes like a scared bunny when I press the go pedal. Put around 40 miles on the low Saturn yesterday and it was running a lot better than I ever remember. Got a few dash rattles I need to track down. Next I need to work on the front brakes and replace/drain/flush cooling system. You replace the fuel filter on yours yet?

John, are you ok? Don't strain your shoulder wit all dat shovel an patchin. I don't get why it's your job to patch. Isn't dat de responsibility of de parish?

Scot, sup brother? Did we fart or sumpin?

Dan, almost 83 meelyun now. Dis game could go forever....

Hmmmm de wind has picked up and de sky now appears threatening. Sorta like when ya say something to de missus an ya Jess know ya shoulda stayed shut up. Is it a long weekend in de US too?

Oh, werm wasn't ready fer de skillet so I sent him back to ya. WTH are you doin up so early on Satuday?

Saturn's day upon us

Mernin', all... Elsie has been a companion for a few days and she ain't leavin' da' swamp soon... We'll be in da' hills B4 Elsie departs, and maybe she'll follow us.

Jamesbo, you're fightin' the good fight: congrats on taking a stand! But it's an uphill battle, and I dread to say the ultimate outcome I'd say is inevitable. What a shame... I can relate, although our plight in da' swamp unfolded in a matter of 3 years, yours at least took 30. But you're dealing w/ the Gubment... it was the private doofuses who screwed us up.

Clint, our NDN's house is maybe 100' from the side of ours? Can't see it from ground level, from our house (tree buffer); but we can see him/them from upstairs. And we have to pass in front their place every time we come or go.

I patched the holes and I guess it's OK. The compound sure looks like dirt with a few rocks and small concrete "stones" added. We shall see the staying power of this brown looking "crushed concrete." At least it's almost as cheap as dirt . Allan, it's a private road. That's good & bad... as long as it stays private, they can't run thru to the other side of our property, and that would be devastating. It's a whole other world over there. The property the road is on is actually another neighbor's; but he doesn't really need the road. It strictly provides access to us and some others. Unfortunately, the "others" couldn't care less about ruts & chuckholes. If we ever have to get another load of gravel, I'm going to go beg money from everyone (it's been 4 yrs. or so since that happened). But in the mean time, it's easier for me to do what I'm doing than to deal with the doofuses.

Anyhoots, arm is no better... I think it's worse. Action needed and I've been formulating a plan over the last couple days. Oh, well... could have been a lot worse.

Have a great weekend, Oldsmofriends.

Mornin All,

Jim, was that you on that news clip? Beautiful old oaks, I too would be fighting to save them!!. Why do older folk need turn lanes? There has to be a way.....

John, sorry to hear arm is no better...go down to the shore with a good book and do nuttin!

Allan, did you get any rain?

I am confused about Freyas day story...can somebody explain?

Clint, why would anybody put farmers on water restrictions??. I guess there are more votes in the cities.

Taking the w30 out for a cruise today

Have a day friends

John, sorry ta hear your arm isn't better. Kinda figured it might have consequences working it like dat when it's already sore. Sure hope it gets better soon. Don't know what to recommend for therapy except maybe de two armed julep curl?

Ted. Nope, still nuttin! The Freyas day story? You posted that on Thors day. That's why ya dint fit a Freyas day story then. Don't dis wit de Gods. Hope you have a great day for your cruise. BTW it's not the older folks dat need the turn lane, it's de yuppies dat are puttin in dat new development. Jims right that it could be better planned. Now that it's started though the city will claim too much has been done already to halt the project. They'll also say public safety trumps de trees any day of de week. I would hit em back wit historical value of those trees, and loss of property enjoyment. I know it's kinda weak. I'd also be circulating a petition to get the neighbors support.

Freya Update

Ted,

I think I created a tempest in a pot of tea .

This is what I learned, and it was a little funny 'cause I had never heard of Freya before we started these "days of the week" jokes up here.

Essentially, Freya was the Nordic watchkeeper who could see a hundred miles in every direction by day or night... so I guess it was natural that ol' Adolf should code-name a **** radar system after her!

This was about as concise a story as I could find. But there is tons of info out there re: **** radar. The one that I first saw was an older British series on Netflix that details some of the greatest Allied raids of WWII. This particular episode showed how the radar system was discovered, and some subsequent "raids" on one of the stations to find out what made it tick, so that they could jam it. Great stuff! Not anything you're likely to find in a history book.

Here's another page in a book that details the operation.

Anyhoots, hope you're not disappointed now

Hi everyone.

Bright and sunny today and hot. I had heard we were going to have rain today, that must be what John's bringing with him.

Jamesbo if you had a bunch of money sitting around you could sue them. You didn't ask for the turn lane. You didn't ask for the subdivision. You didn't ask for them to cut off your property and take down your historical trees. So much for retaining rural Milton.

So John I've forgotten, yours is a road that is not owned by anybody? Owned collectively by all the neighbors? If you weren't the generous one and stopped patching the road, who would the others call to complain?

My girl feels much better today, though she is trying to milk the sympathy. She only limps when I'm looking at her. One thing she doesn't like is to be picked up. So the first time I carried her down the steps to the back yard she must have decided to get better quick.

Gonna hit Walmart this afternoon then get ready for work. I'd much rather be cruising with Ted. See ya.

Hi everyone.

Took in the Awful house for lunch then hit Walmart. Came out and noticed a big scrape on the lower quarter of the pickup behind the back wheel. I don't think it happened today but it doesn't look too old. And this is the Nth reason not to take anything nice where there are other people around to screw it up.

Didn't do Walmart last night because my boy, who normally does not like to cuddle at all, was tattooed to my side. In his past life he spent a lot of time by himself and in dog jail, so when he comes home from the kennel he just wants closeness. My girl was laying over the AC vent with all her bones.

Jamesbo I've watched that clip several times and I think the only thing left to do is to dig up some dirt on the mayor and threaten him with it.

First of three tonight. Hope it all goes well. Have a good weekend everyone.

Hey Ted! How'd the cruise go? Betcha lots of peeps turned their heads to stare and listen to the growl of that 455?

Sheesh, I'm gonna Have to put on long pants and a sweater.

Hi everyone.

Sunny and hot today while I was sleeping and now it's cooled off quite a bit and it looks like rain. We haven't had rain in a couple weeks anyway, which I love, but we could probably use some. Hope I'm working inside tonight.

I was out taking a couple parts off my old G20 and noticed something interesting. On the label under the hood it clearly states that this van has an LS motor. And way back in 1984. Yup that's right, you read it hear first. Mike's 84 Beauville started the craze. LS9 .

I'm really wishing I could find a 70 Cutlass 4 door. I may have to look out west. Used to be if you were east of the Mississippi you went to Tennessee. I don't think Tennessee has any cars left. Florida's have all been eaten from the top down, Georgia's have all rusted inside out, and all the other deep south cars have been put through the demo derbys.

Not a bad night last night, first helped jack a 757 then did an overnight check on a 717. Turned over the 717 and as I was leaving at 7 saw a guy I hadn't seen in awhile and talked for quite awhile. Got home at twenty to 8. Yikes. My girl, who seemed fine when I left last night, was limping and her leg was swollen. I had been giving her partial pain medicine, but today I've been giving her all of it. If she isn't better in the morning I'll take her to the vet.

Well time to hit the road. And in the time I've been sitting here we've gotten probably a quarter inch of rain. It still is fairly light out, so I don't think it will last long. Fine by me. Have a good night everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Rain stopped before I left last night, and I was working outside. So that worked out. Tonight is Friday. I might call in.

Got home this morning a little early, and my girl's leg is quite swollen. She seems to be getting around a little better, but that swelling has me a little concerned. So we are headed to the vet when they open at 8. I think my boy will have to stay home. He won't like that.

Jamesbo smack 'em good on the course today.

Hope the week starts out good for everyone.

Mornin all.

Jamesbo. I'm not on the puter much on the weekends. The missus had me a movin and a shakin yesterday. she got busy with the loppers and the chain saw. I have to get the ground level and ready for the new shed. then She had me running the shipper. I had to sharpen the blades twice and went thru 3 tanks of fuel. I'm done. Didn't sleep well. Ya got some real nice looking land out there. I hope they find a way to save the trees.

Mike that LS9 was used all the way back in 73. 175 hp/ 275 ft/lbs of torque. Sounds like a runner.

Ted, There's no good reason for it. Seems another instance of Common Sense being absent.

Rainin. hope today goes fast. have a Monday all.

Well things went well at the vet. My girl has an infection in her leg, hence the swelling. She had a cut on the back of her leg that I didn't see. Now she has medicine that will make her better in a few days. I suppose a good dog parent would have taken her to the emergency vet clinic over the weekend.

And now off to bed. I'm completely wacked. Have a good day everyone.

Mornin,

Allan, I am spoiled. I cruised with the w30, then jumped into the Cutlass and did it all over again. Lots of thumbs up and waves. Passed two chevelles in town with the w30...I waved but they just stared at me...guess they were scared. Great fun with my son for the last two days! GOOD STUFF

Jim, hopefully whitey behaves for ya today. Keep us posted on the trees status.

Mike, I too hope your dog is okay.

John, interesting history. I feel much better in knowing. Iding that array was extremely important to the Allied forces....

Clint, common sense seems to be slipping away with a lot of things

Hi everyone.

Storms right in the middle of the day. So of course sleep was put on hold. I got up and fixed a sandwich, and when the thunder subsided to a dull rumble, went back to bed. My girl climbed up with me and went to sleep. My boy finally settled down and went and hid somewhere. So at 5 I said, we need to get ready for work. My girl didn't want to get down. I guess sleeping up on the bed was comfy. I knew I should have called in tonight.

Ted sounds like a lot of fun cruising around. I used to cruise around in my rusty 4 door and had the best time. I don't have anyone to cruise with so I don't go.

I hear more thunder off in the distance, so I'll quick head out for work before the dogs realize it and go crazy. I'll stop and get something quick to eat on the way.

Have a good evening everyone.

Darn! Frost the last 2 days wiped out my tomatoes, peppers and some of my flowers. Hafta start all over again with some of them.

Aerated the lawns today. What a grind. Water is on right now because we STILL haven't got any rain. You guys with surplus please send it our way? Thanks.

Ted - Good for you. Double cruise whammy. I get that a lot with my car too! Even the guys with the hot new Camaros, Stangs, Challengers etc give the nod of approval and thumbs up.

Mike - or should I call you 'Magnum'? I saw you posted at 357 so I'll wing it and call ya magnum. Good luck with the girls recovery.

Clint - sounds like you had a tough slog on the weekend. Getting the ground prepped is a beach sometimes but pays off in the long run. Is the shed pre-fab or do you have to build it?

Jim - I can't help but wonder why this thing with the trees just came up. That subdivision and road work look like they've been in progress for quite some time. When that development subdivision was planned surely they must have informed the neighboring properties how it would affect them? I really can't see them just broaching the subject of an encroachment on your property just now? Didn't they tell you in advance this could be part of the process? Up here we get notification of anything that affects our neighborhood so it can be appealed or reviewed by neighbors to determine if it needs adjustment or isn't a good fit. Anyhoo, good luck with your fight. Based on my observation of local gubments, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a quick solution.

I'm beat. See ya tomorrow.

Mornin all.

Allan, They assemble on site. With how bad it's raining today I doubt they will get it painted. It's for storage, I don't have enough deep thoughts to fill it so I'll put yard equipment in it.

Mike. You may ask the dealer if they have a software update to minimize the delay. That is one of the things I don't like with Drive by wire systems. Chevy has gotten a lot better, but back in 03-04 when they first came out, their lag was awful. Hope her infection clears up quick.

Ted. It needs to be re classified as uncommon.

Well I need to go find my oars to make it to work today. Have a Tuesday.

Nope Allan, Dat's the main issue as far as I'm concerned. I was standing in my front yard 2 weeks ago and this kid from the paving company jes happen to inform me. Dat's when I started raising hell.De city has had month's to allow everyone to sit down and examine de issue. If you look at de video, de mayor pat's himself on the back for quickly responding. Dat's true after every tree huger on FB bombarded every city official wit e-mails threatening to chain dem selves to my trees.

Good morning everyone.

Odd night at work, and not a terrific one. Plane landed before we got there but didn't get to the hangar until almost 10, because the storms that rolled through delayed all the departures so they all had to leave before a maintenance plane could get out of the gate. Started on the overnight check, then went to help change out a bunch of valves that were being evaluated for having filters in their sense lines. Well, the vendor people didn't know exactly what we were supposed to do and we sort of made things up as we went along. I love how no one knows what the heck is going on, yet people keep barking to do -something-.

Jamesbo one of your tree huggers is going to need to be a member of the Bar.

My girl has gone backwards in her recovery. I left the house just as rain was starting, and she bit and chewed and clawed at the wall and door for God only knows how long. I feel bad that she's hurt, but it's hard to have sympathy for someone who knows what's going to happen, and does stupid things anyway. Got her medicine in her and being off the next few days I can make sure she doesn't get worked up over anything.

Well I guess I'll hit the sack for a couple hours. Need to do a few things this afternoon. Hope everyone has a good day.

Mornin,

Allan, I see the west is freezing. Hope you get rain soon.

Mike, nobody in your area you could hook up with? I am lucky, this area is full of old cars and most owners like to cruise...

We pushed the planting season too late last year and only half of my fall wheat crop germinated. Sooooo, we are applying a dose of bio-solids and replanting to corn. My voice in my head told me we were too late, but I gambled and LOST

Clint, good point. Common sense is no longer common!

Mawnin y'all

Finally we got a night that was above zero. Shoulda known better I guess. I'll head out and get some new plants cause it would take too long to start me from seed now. Got some old pillow cases ready to cover them at night now, just in case.

Overhauled the lawnmower yesterday for no start. The throttle plate looks like it might have been sticking so it's been adjusted. Cleaned all the linkages and carb bowl. Blew out all the cleaner and tested for free movement and it looks good. Reset the idle speed screw to increase rpms by about + 100 rpms. Reassembled everything and did an oil change. Went to fire it and ....no start! 3 pulls later I bermembered I had disconnected the spark plug boot doing the oil change. Put it back and one pull...vroom just like its Spoda. To think 2 years ago it took Sears 5 weeks to do what I did in half hour? Their service is not good, especially since their repair wasn't good when I got it back.

Mike, I have this theory about girls.....in general...most of them are high maintenance.

Ted, Yikes, sounds like your crop failure cost way more yhan my lil frosting. Sorry to hear.was the crop insured? Do you think a corn crop will mature in time? The farms out here are still seeding but are really worried about drought. Southern AB got a ton of rain this past weekend but basically nothing up our wat.

Jim, ah that's what was missing in the comment. I hear ya loud and clear now. This one sounds like the city dropped the ball by not allowing due process to be served. The courts will likely support that even if the city flip flops. Property rights suits in civil court usually end up in favor of the owners. In this case the city could be easily sued for illegal land annexation and trespass. Ever thought of setting up an observation chair to monitor with trusty shotgun in plain view? Nothin illegal about that as far as I know especially if you're always on your side of the line.

Clint, how big is that thing anyway? Sounds like a barn. Is it wood or metal? Now you got me really curious. Hmmm, if you build it big enough maybe a place to store Britt to free up room in the shop?

Might go learn how to drive a bobcat today. Oh, dat means I also gots to have an occasional beer too. Rock and tree removal at my nephews place.

Hola, all...

Made it up to da' hills... Pollen is all over the "new" deck ;-)

Been pretty good showers on & off, too.

Got an appointment to have the shoulder looked at tomorrow. Finding an orthopedist up here ain't like "falling" off a log, neither. This one guy won't take our specific insurance; but I'm desperate. So, we'll just hope it's limited to X-rays and a single office visit. I think we can handle that.... Really just need the peace of mind of knowing something's not permanently damaged. Not in constant pain thank goodness; but if I do move it or put pressure on it in one of a couple specific directions, I still see the Pleiades. So I'm just a bit handicapped on the right side.

Glad you enjoyed, Ted!

Whelpt, y'all have a great Memorial Day iffin' I'm not back up here B4 then.

Good morning everyone.

Looks like it's shaping up to be a beautiful day. Hope I'm focused enough to get something done.

John good luck at the doctor today.

Allan running a Bobcat sounds like fun. I've never done it. One of those would probably do me better than a backhoe.

Clint I don't know what was wrong with the "drive by wire" they had before. One thick wire that went from the gas pedal to the carb. Or the TB I don't want to date myself too much.

Guess I'll get it together and get the day started. Happy Humpin' everyone.

Mornin all.

John, Sorry to hear about the shoulder. Hope it turns out to be nothin. It's surprising you haven't had more contact with them than you have being so close.our 'hood stays pretty much to themselves but we do chat at least a few times a year. After this weekends tree massacre I'm sure I'll see a lot more of the neighbors at least to the north.

Allan It's an 8x12 so no permit needed. They put it up yesterday in spite of the rain. They will need to come back when it dries out for the final coat of paint. I'm thinking of using the brush on style bedliner on the floor. Allan whadya think of the skidder (bobcat)? I'd like to bring mine home but a buddy of mine borrowed my trailer several weeks ago and I have no idear where it is. Not like I could use it in the backyard anyhow. Too wet= too much damage.

Jamesbo keep us informed. It' would be a shame to lose them trees. I bet they help keep the road noise down too.Maybe you should go throw a odd looking frog or mouse in the ditch there and then claim its prime habitat for a unique species...

Mike hope she relaxes a bit and gets that leg healed up.

The kid got a new mule last week. She had her heart set an a roan this time. so she picked up a 3 year old that is barely greenbroke, so she doesn't have to wait a couple years of growing before starting to work with it.

We got about an inch of water yesterday. That puts us up to almost double where we should be this time of year. everything is so green but also so soggy. We're starting to make NOLA look parched.

Ted It's a funky year for planting. We are 36F right now (Thats 2C for you Allan) not spose to get snow, but I did have a Toyota in the parking lot yesterday with about 7" of the white stuff on the roof. The missus talked with her Alfalfa supplier yesterday and he said his fields frosted so it may be an expensive year for owners of performance horses. She's scrambling to find some other supply maybe here on the eastern slope where it didn't get so cold.

Sandy, Thinking aboutcha.

Have a humpday all.

Mawn'in all

Got sum rain late yesterday.

Mike, Hope de pups didn't freak out during de storms.

Clint, Dat's a great idear. Know where I can get a snail darter or a spotted owl?
A bud of mine jes bought a new mule but he won't plow straight. Steps on his trace chains. I told him you could get more corn planted in a crooked row but I don't think dat helps

Sandy X2 think'in 'bout cha. Hang in there

Allan, You ever use dem hot caps over maters to protect against frost.

GTG Have a great day Olds friends

Mornin,

We went from 28C to 2C in 12 hours....brrrrr! Had to put the fire on

Allan, Bobcats are the worst on the back and neck.i dealt mine for a small tractor!....but they are handy. How did you make out?. My crop was insured....they pay 60% of the seed costs and fertilizer inputs but nothing for labor or seeding costs. So, I am out about 9000$...another farm loss

Clint, nice looking yard! What are the enclosures? One looks like it is for birds and the other looks like a practice ring for horses?

John, hope nothing major with shoulder.

Jim, rare snakes would work....turtles?

Have a day friends

Mawnin

Beautimus day here! Already 14C. Dats 57F fear oursouthern neighbors. Spoda climb to around 25 today. (78). Still no sign of rain....dang....

Jim, yessir I got them hats. In fact I had them on both de maters an peppers when de nasty weather showed. Guess I shoulda draped them with cloth too. I dint spec the peppers to be hit so bad cause they're up close to the south side of de crib where it's nice an hot. Lesson lerned.

Clint, that's the same size as mine only I put the doors on the end to give more wall space inside. Build some storage cubbies all along the one wall, tires, ladders and other stuff on the other. Mower goes right in de middle with plenty of walk by room. In hindsight I shoulda built a double decker

Ted, good to hear it was insured. The loss you can write off on taxes? At least I'm hoping. Does the loss crimp your resto projects?

John, I wish there was a sure fire cure in a bottle you could take. I hate when pains stop a body from enjoying life.

No luck wit de Robert Feline adventure. Apparently a rental contract here stipulates who can operate it....sigh. I really wanted to try that in spite of how jarring it might be.

Mike, how's the girl? Swelling gone down yet? Ya think maybe she got bit by mr no shoulders?

Gas here went WAAAAY up overnight. From .90/L to 102.9/L. That's close to .45/gal for you luckier folks south. How can we be so lucky? Why does big oil like raping U.S. consumers so much? Oh, right. Because we let them and they're entitled....I can't believe this crap. I bermembered when gas was .28/ gal for reg an .30/gal for premium an dey pumped it wit a smile, checked de oil, and war shed an shammied de windshield.

Ok, gotta hit Costco. Tomorrows de wife's BD and they have the flowers she likes best. Y'all are welcome to drop by for eats around 4:00 or so. Nuttin fancy, just grilled burgers, salad, corn on de cob an speshul kake! She's partial to triple choklit.

Enjoy your day.

Hola, amigos

Beautiferous day in da' hills... Delighted to say nuttin' seriously wrong wit da' arm/shoulder.... X-ray came out fine... he said it looks like the shoulder of a 58-y.o. His diagnosis was a strain or sprain; gave me exercises, a prescription, and recommended therapy. Might just try the exercises for a week or two and see what happens. All the therapy would do would be to "teach" me the exercises, and then supervise me. Since better half is a personal trainer, she can be my supervisor for now... He said if it didn't show marked improvement in two weeks, I should get an MRI. Just knowing what I know now makes it feel better already!
Thanks for the well-wishes, folks.

Clint, we usually go out of our way to introduce ourselves to our neighbors; but this couple seems like they really couldn't care less. I've left messages for them and they don't return my call, and I hardly can tell when they're home or not. That's life.

Jamesbo, this guy in Blairsville (Union General Hospital) was decent. Any port in a storm, but the port seemed to be quite nice, just in case you ever have the need. Gainesville is about an hour & half south of us (closer to you than me). That's about how far I'd have to go for our nearest Sam's, too!

Whelpt, let me get to usin' this right arm again, Oldsmofriends.

John, good to see nothing major wrong with the shoulder. Gas went up here 20¢ a gallon yesterday, just in time for the holiday weekend. Gotta go get a temporary handicap tag for parking, gas for the mower as my neighbor will do that for 6-8 weeks, and an outdoor foot stool to use as I "convalesce".

Any of you have any good recommendations on central AC? I'm looking at one for the house. Basically a 13 seer unit made by Ameritech (parent company is Trane). Buddy quoted 4100.00 tax included. I thought that was a bit high till I went to Costco today. Buddy there was selling Lennox and their 13 seer is 5400.00 not including tax. YIKES >"_"< !!

Ok, I know it costs less in the US, but what is a reasonable amount and type of unit. NOT going with portable window units - that's out of the question.

Hi everyone.

What a nice evening. Lots of times I wish I had one of those outdoor rooms where I could sit out and enjoy the evening and still watch TV.

I went out and worked in the Airstream a little bit today. Then it started raining, no thunder, for like 5 minutes. I went inside and of course the dogs were having a fit. So that was the end of working on the Airstream. Even after it cleared up every time I went to go out they would be upset. So I stayed in until I put them in their room and went to get something to eat. Jamesbo we didn't get rain down this way yesterday.

John I'm glad there isn't anything seriously wrong. I didn't know Better Half was a personal trainer. She must have a fit every time fat old me comes up to visit.

Dan gas went up here about 20c as well. No good reason for it, just pocket lining. Good luck with the convalescing. You didn't have surgery already did you?

My girl is making a marked improvement. She walks better, and her leg isn't as swollen. We do the medicine in cheese thing otherwise she wouldn't take it. Now I don't feel like such a bad dog parent by waiting so long to take her for help.

Allan I wouldn't think that's too bad of a price for a [Trane]. Did the 4100 include installation?

Tomorrow is AMT day at work. They are having a big shindig all day long with tool vendors and food and a bunch of lame games. Though they are having classic cars and aircraft on display. I was thinking of going up there in the afternoon to check it out. I want to look at a few tools that I should be able to get a deal on. Aviation Maintenance Technician day honors the birthday of the very first airplane mechanic, Charles Taylor. He was the Wright Brothers' bicycle mechanic who designed and built the engine for the Wright Flyer, and maintained their aircraft after that first flight.

Well have a good night everyone, I'm gonna relax and watch some TV and hit the sack.
