When cartoons were fun and harmless. Hard to complain about the weather, when parts of N.Y. are supposed to get up to 70" of snow by Thursday. But I will....dammit'stoocoldtoosoon!

Boyoboyoboy... first chance I got to visit today. This mawnin the iPad was deader than roadkill kicked to the side by a snow plow last January. I think de missus forgot to plug it in and it wouldn't even boot. I plugged it in and there wasn't even a 0 charge indicator!! Took the better part of 5 hours to come up to 100% and yup, she grabbed it right away. I watched a few recorded shows on the PVR to pass some of the time.

Clint - thanks for checking. I did some more checking too. The 2010 Corolla is a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and the high offset is 39mm. Checked with the local yota dealer and they want 70/wheel which isn't terrible I suppose. Then I found a set of 4 about 50 miles away for 20/wheel off a 2002 Sienna. The only difference is 1mm on the high offset so they should be fine. Thank you sir for checking though. Oh, BTW I did buy a Kirkland battery back in 2004 or something like that. It didn't last all that long - maybe 4 years. Replaced it with a Motomaster battery. From what I can see on the web they are the supplier to Autozone which is just a different Title for the same company up here (PartSource/Canadian Tire). The Motomaster Eliminator has been hit / miss for me.

Darrell - I've been meaning to ask for a week now but forgot. Did you have a trans gender operation or sumpin? Who's that doll in your avatar? If that's what you look like now, heck I'd be first in line to date ya! Hope the pooch gets well soon cause surprises like those that you're finding don't really excite or endear.

Mike - I haven't the foggiest. The police say they haven't any clue either because there's just too much first hand evidence against this twit. I have all the original statements and police reports, pictures etc. From some of the phone discussion apparently he might be pleading not guilty to both charges (failing to secure load, and driving while suspended) to see if one of them might get dropped in favor of the other. I have a vested interest in this too because if they drop the failure to secure load one, the insurance company might revisit and decide to try recouping the almost 5K in damage to my car. I have no plans to let that happen.

Allan - nope, I didn't get an operation to change my sex, lol, it's a picture of Jessica Alba, one of my favorite hotties. Believe me, if I looked like her I'd be checking myself out naked all day long and wouldn't get any work done!

I still can't figure out the pooch. After nuking the walls and floor last night, he was back to normal this morning???? Then he did it again tonight, but thank goodness it was outside. My wife bought a probiotic and he started taking it today. Hopefully that starts working soon.

Jamesbo - thanks for the advice. He's been getting grilled chicken and rice in warm water. If I don't give him meat, he's stalking me to keep feeding him.

Mike - I will get some immodium too.

Clint - I'll have to look on my samsung phone for that app, thanks.

Evening All!

Warm today! Got up to 31 around 5 pm, was 13* this morning when I got up. Yesterday was a frigid one.... 9*, windy, and the snow was blowing. It was just bitter cold. I'm sick of it already, and it's still FALL!

Lost one of my pretty cardinal garden flags yesterday in the gales of November. I noticed it was gone this morning when I was backing out of the driveway. When I came home I bundled up and walked over through Steve's yard looking for it, but I didn't see it anywhere. As strong as those winds were yesterday, it's probably way down across 91 somewhere. It was so pretty, had the male and female cardinals on it. I just bought them in October. Last year it was one of my scarecrow flags.

I didn't get the bone scan yesterday. I wasn't happy! Went over to Bedford hospital, and they didn't have the order. Of course Dr. Bressi isn't in on Tuesdays. I called the radiology dept. in Twinsburg where the dr. first sent the order thinking I could get it done there, and they didn't have it any longer. The girl was real nice and went over to find the dr's. assistant Carolyn. Carolyn called me and said the dr. did the order for a bone density test, not a full body scan. I told her that I get those done at the Cleve. Clinic in Solon. So she was going to ask the dr. today and let me know. I didn't hear from anyone though. So I went in to work at 9:15 yesterday. When I got off work, I met Nicole and Nick at Applebees in Streetsboro and we had a really late lunch. It was nice to see Nick. He's a nice kid. He heads to Florida tomorrow, then he'll be stationed back in Texas somewhere.

I think Nicole is heading back to Indy on Friday. I had a long talk with her, asked if she really loves Jon. She said she does. I tried to tell her before, that until you live with someone, you really don't know how they are, how they get. I knew Larry drank, I drank with him (only not as much, lol), but I didn't know how he got when he was drunk until we moved in here. She was raised around that kind of behavior, and she doesn't like it. I understand. Jon doesn't. She knew he smoked occasionally and had a few drinks. She said he's one of those type of people who are almost a genius, so his mind is always moving, he gets a little paranoid and upset if she doesn't sit with him and his friends at the table when they're drinking, and like that. I told her he's grown, she can't be his mother and be telling him not to do this, and not to do that. If he wants to smoke, tell him to go outside or to the garage, if he wants her to sit with them, sit for a couple minutes then say I'm going to go play a game. I don't know, it's live and learn. If he doesn't want to work out, work out without him. It's compromise on both parts. She said they do talk about things, which is good. I never could. Larry gets defensive immediately. Most people do, especially when they're drinking. It really shocked me to hear about this side of Jon cause he really is a great guy. He's worried about money, just started a new job so he's stressed and those high IQ people handle things differently anyhow, lol. He has all the expenses, since she's not working yet, expenses with the animals now that he didn't have before, her car payment, her student loan, etc... I hope they work it out. I'm trying to stay out of it. Hopefully he'll be here for Thanksgiving with us.

I guess Jon was taking the cats back to where they bought them, today. He talked to them yesterday and they said they'd refund half of the money they paid for them, since they sold them without checking for ringworm. That's good! He's keeping Enzo in his cage, he took him to the vet and got stuff for the ringworm he has. I guess he and his room mates are cleaning the place good. What a mess! Just more stress on them.

I asked Brian today if they discussed the Christmas dinner yesterday after I left. Of course they did, and they chose the place in Hudson like I figured they would. I told him I would have voted for the place in Akron, but then I'm never included in anything. I'm just told. If I'm lucky! They didn't figure out when we'll go yet.

Steve came back from lunch today saying that the owner and one of his sons are coming in on Dec. 3rd, and they want us to go to dinner. No spouses! Steve said they want to talk to him. I'm sure they do! Steve hasn't hired anyone like he was told to a year and a half ago, he's retiring next December and no one knows his plans. He hopes to just ride it out, then everything falls on someone else. He doesn't have to change anything. So I'm not surprised Art wants to talk to us. I sure hope he doesn't mention me going in to sales again! I don't want it! We're going to need a manager and a salesperson. We have no room to put anybody; Art didn't want to spend the money remodeling our unit yet. Maybe he's changed his mind? I know Brian doesn't want to move to a bigger place, Steve didn't want to move, Clay and I are all for moving. Twinsburg is full of office complexes. Brian doesn't want to take the time to look - you know he's soooo busy! I think at dinner I'll volunteer to look around if Art would like, and see if I could find a bigger unit. Brian wouldn't like that though.... he thinks he's the one that should do things like that, then he'd have something else to complain that he doesn't have time to do. Plus I'm sure anything I'd find wouldn't meet with his approval! I guess we'll have to see just what this visit is about before jumping to conclusions.

Darrell... thank you. I'm surprised how much hair I have after only 6 months! I'm not sure if I'll let it get way long again or not. It just needs to thicken up now! It's still baby soft, lol. I'm hoping to get a call from the surgeon soon - I hope we can get the surgery done by years end.

It's supposed to be in the 50's this weekend, so I might schlep down some Christmas containers and put them in the breezeway. Decorate after Thanksgiving.

Well I'm going to get off here. Have a good evening and stay warm!!

Sandy. I hope things work out with the kids.

Darrell. Sorry to hear the pooch isn't getting better. Almost sounds like a blockage of some sort. You guys getting buried?

Allan, Sounds like someone needs to ask santee claws for his own eye pad.

Well the missus and I think we would rather be dealing with all the snow in buffalo than whats going on right now. But she's a trooper and keeps trudging along.

Have a Thursday all.

Good morning everyone.

Sunny but no steam. Must be spring.

Closing today. At 4pm. I thought, what a dumb time for a closing, that takes up my whole day. Eh, I'll go get the rest of those Met parts. Ah, can't wait to have my own shop! Even if it doesn't have a front wall.

Running a little late today, have a good Thursday everyone.

Morning everyone

BAM! Mentioned 2002 Sienna yesterday and today there's an ad for 2002 Sienna ignition coil! Well we were lucky, no freezing rain overnight. Pleasant morning so far @22* but no wind. Feel sorry for all those folks down east getting hit by the laker storms. News says 8 people dead. The video feeds from Buffalo are mind numbing.

Clint, my very own eye pad? Yew must be kiggin! I hate this thing especially the auto spell cheese. Only reason I use it is it has my 2048 game on it. Haven't even given Krimmitz any thoughts yet. Still too early to put up the tree.

Mike, good luck with the closing. Only thing you gotta watch for on an open barn is car part poachers.

Jim, now dats funny. I purty much always no where my cell is sept fer the berry few dat I don't. Den most of de time it's in de car center console an I wouldn't heer it no how from de house. Yeah I'd attach it to her purse wit an idjut kord an mebbe a magnet fer when she puts it on de car roof and drives off wit it still on top.

Darrell, I don't know your hottie but from what I googled she's married so hands off. You might have to invest in doggie diapers or wrap part of your house in poly. It's no fun for you but I can't imagine what de pooch is feeling. It's also knows something is wrong. Too bad animals can't talk.

Ok, time fer koffee, then out to curling, followed by haircut time. Might have time this afternoon to hit de boneyard. Enjoy your day.

Nippy, but not like previous two nights. 'Twas 36* at da' Plantation, but spose to be in 60s later... at least the kitties will be able to hang out on the porch/patio/whateveryoucallit.

Jamesbo, better half saw that Today Show thing with Jay yesterday. What a great gesture... can you imagine how that guy felt? He seemed to be a real car guy, which was fab. You'd hate something like that going to somebody who just wanted something to go to Kroger's and Starbucks every day... God bless them both.

Whelpt, lots to do with better half back today. We stopped off at Middendorf's on the way back from the airport yesterday evening and filled our crops with fried softshell crabs (monster!) and "thin-fried" catfish -- their specialty. "Wow!" is all I can say. Although that place has been there for around a hundred years (literally), it never gets old to me. Who wants to come down and meet me there next time? I'll treat.

Have a great Thor's day, Oldsmofriends.

Saw this this morning and it brought back a few memories -- especially of my working at the car wash summer of '72 (wasn't that a movie?).

http://www.hagerty.com/articles-vide...c-Car-Features

And speaking of movies, I guess everyone heard that Mike Nichols (a.k.a. Mikhail Igor Peschkowsky) passed yesterday. He and his other half at the time, Elaine May, did a series of classic Jax beer commercials for the New Orleans brewery. Also, had no idea he was married to Diane Sawyer.

Hey, I can get on CO today, it wouldn't open up last night. So, remember when I bought my new snowblower two years ago? It's a Snapper, and it's a piece of crap! DO NOT BUY ONE! lets see, leaks gas like a sieve, one wheel hub is leaking grease, and it may or may not shut off when I pull the ****/key? out to cut the power. I already joined a snowblower forum to see if I can get help.

Dan, might be something with the servers in MI. Possibly they are snowed under now that no one is going out, just spending more time inside perusing the web? I have no experience with Snapper snowblowers. The one I bought was Sno Tek which is a spin off brand of Ariens. Aside from not having one of the auger lock pins and a wheel cotter missing on delivery, it starts and runs pretty reliably. It's not a biggie - just a 24" path but that sucker shoots snow over 40'!!!

John - never heard of Jax beer, but loved that commercial! We're having a heat wave here. Right now it's close to 37° and tomorrow might be up to at least 38!!! Definitely T shirt weather, no need for coats. Too bad we don't have Canadian alleygators or they'd be out thrashing about in de puddles. Thorsday smilin right back at ya my friend.

Hi everyone.

Had the closing today on my property. Everything went fine and now I'm the owner! I'm pretty excited. I already took some car parts over there and changed the lock on the gate.

I've never heard of Jax beer, either. Is it from Florida? Allan is that 37 centigrade?

Dan it wouldn't surprise me if the site was the reason you couldn't get on. It's been doing some odd things lately. The snow blowers I had up home were always Toro. I wore more than one of them out over the years.

Well it's my last night off. It will be a long two days of work because I'll be anxious to get back to the property.

Have a good night everyone. Friday is upon us.

Mike, 37°C would be the same as 98.6°F, so I don't think so. Course, 98.6 is definitely either T shirt weather in your neck of the woods. Here's a handy conversion table for ya.

Hi all. Warmed up here a little today into the mid 40's. Tried to rake up some leaves but it was too windy. Nothing more frustrating than finishing up an area and then looking back and thinking, why did I bother? We don't have any snow here, I'm at the other end of the state. The word is that the Buffalo Bills won't be able to play their home game this Sunday due to the 6 feet of snow on the ground. Glad I'm not shoveling that!

Clint - The pooch is still about the same. The probiotic maybe helping a little but still not sure. Probably have to give it another day or two to see if its helping.

Yesterday was my daughter's 11th birthday. We had a little family get together here and celebrated. Can't believe she's that old already, time's going by too fast.

Allan - yes you're right, the hottie in my avatar is married but then again so am I. Can still dream right?

Good mornin all.

why would someone pay $29.95 for an owners manual that no one reads for a 02 Sienna?

Darrell, hope the poor thing feels better. hate to hear about the misery of our furry friends. I was gonna ask if you were busy shoveling or not. Some of those pics are amazing.

Dan, Is it still an option? (the Toro, not Miss Alba) Maybe you could use the snapper as a decoy? Just place it in the yard and dare any snow to come near it.

Hey Mike. Congrats on the new pad.Hope it works out like you want.

Well I spose we should see some rioting tonight down in St. Louis. I hope that 70 vert I worked on stays safe. I doubt it will get that bad. He was on the other side of the river.

Have a Friday all.

Rained here last night so the sidewalks are all ice this morning.

Clint, you must be seeing different ads than I see.

Mike, good going on your new property. Now you can buy that Cessna.

Darrell, absolutely.

Jim, what is a conservation easement and what is samil land? Hope it's not in Somalia or it's just a lost cause.

John, maybe you and Freya can share some of that beer over lunch today.

Spoda get up to 4" of snow later today, and more tomorrow. Seems like nothing compared to down east. Koffees ready, so time to go. Enjoy your day.

Clint, unfortunately when i got the new blower, I put the Toro on the curb with a "free" sign on it, went inside to P, and when I came back out, it was gone. Right now some guy is real happy with his Toro!!

Hi everyone.

Allan I was being a wise guy. It always cracks me up when I'm in Australia in March and the weather report says the high will be 39*.

Darrell Happy Birthday to the little girl. Hope you're throwing her a bash.

Gonna take one of the Mets and the trailer over to their new home today. Thanks everyone for the nice words. I see great benefit having this place.

Over 50 here, so says the back porch thermometer. Work tonight, hope it isn't going back down to arctic temps.

Okay see ya later.

3.11 acres isn't all that small, but a nice sized parcel. Good luck dealing with the City peepers, they'll grant you an easement and change it at whim when they feel like it's in their best interests, not yours. Glad to hear the land is not in Somalia.

Mike - Kinda figured that. Most of the time I already do the calculation and give the Farenheit scale for youse guys. The eye pad doesn't let me insert the ° symbol (Alt+0176 if you're curious) so that only happens on my desktop puter. Spose ta get cooler later today and go below 0°C for the next week or so. Most of the snow is close to melted here with all the warm temps and rain we've had. So much for having a clean car. The new wiper blades work great though.

Dan - I'd a scooped a free Toro too. Neighbor on the main street put out a basket ball hoop and support with a 'free' sign on it in the fall. Stayed there for 3 weeks till he took it to the dump. Guess it depends on whats on the curbside. Even if your Toro wasn't a runner, a guy with mechanical small engine skills could make it one prolly pretty cheap and sell it for some good coin.

Hi everyone.

Spent the afternoon over at my place. Pulled in with the black truck towing a Metropolitan and about 5 minutes later here comes one of the neighbors. Nice enough guy, has lots of cars in his yard, his wife drives a VW camper Bus with a Subaru water cooled motor. I think we'll get along fine. Took a few pictures I'll try to put up. The place doesn't look like much but I think it has enormous potential.

Here's a question. How long is oil good for in its original container? I found several bottles(and cans!) of oil never opened, but I'm guessing they're about 20 years old. I thought I might use it in the Saturn, since oil doesn't stay that long in there anyway. It doesn't turn acidic or something else does it?

I just remembered we're having a dinner at work tonight. This is round two, as the first dinner was this week while I was off. We always have two, to accommodate anyone who is off.

Well have a good weekend everyone, rain is supposed to come around here at some point, because it's getting warmer. Always a fly in the ointment.

It'll be ok. It is not refined like todays oil and doesn't have the additives either. But for a leaker it'll be ok.

BTW. It doesn't look like anything i had in my mind. Way better.

x2 on the oil. You should check the weight and see if it's 10W30. If it is, save it for your Cutlass. It will have the right amount of zinc that the flat tappets need. The Saturn can take anything since it has roller rockers. I only use cheap oil in the Saturn for the same reason. I rarely get to the 3000km point without having to add at least a litre. In a way it does its own oil changes just based on leakage. Yeah, I know. Still have to change the filter. Those horizontal ADV filters do keep the full cannister of oil. I made an adapter to change the filter so it doesn't leak all over the CV boot and subframe. Just cut an old plastic oil jug in half the long way and jam it under the filter when taking it off. Catches everything and really easy to work around.

The property looks quite large! I'd be inclined to do the Johnny Cash thing and take a piece of aircraft hanger door home every night to build a slider for the front of the barn. You remember what I mean?

Fright day well-wishes

Evening, all... Gor-joo-us day today way down yonder south... must've hit about 70*. Had to go to periodontist in Baton Rouge and met my old friend for breakfast at laMadeleine, one of my fave's. Had a very nice morning hanging out and eating there, then we went to see the house in B.R. where better half & I rented after Katrina. It was an armpit then, but any port in a storm, as they say. Somebody thankfully got a hold of it from the previous owner and did good; looks quite presentable now. I hadn't seen it since we bought the Plantation in Feb. of '06. It was kinda' fun to see it again, although only on the outside. What a time that was for us... crazy memories.

Jamesbo, Allan, and Mike: U R right, Jamesbo, those were N.O. bred and brewed beers. Regal has been extinct since I was a kid, and Dixie -- although begun in N.O. -- hasn't been brewed there since Katrina. Jax was a proud little brewery on the river, directly across Decatur St. from Jackson Square. But you're right, Mike. Jax beer originated in Jacksonville, FL, but the naming rights were sold in 1956 to the Jackson Brewing Co. in N.O., and was thereafter closely associated with Andrew Jackson. In my lifetime, Jax Beer always had a picture of the statue of Andrew Jackson from Jackson Square, directly in line with St. Louis Cathedral.

Got lots more to spout aimlessly about, but need to get out to den and keep better half company, then wind down for beddy-bye.

Oh, Mike, big hi-5 on that property! Looks quite rustic; I love it. I'm going to come down there and see it one day. Hope the Metro loves its new home. I would.

Have a great weekend, Oldsmofriends.

Good morning everyone.

Good night at work, though long. We had a good dinner and my plane was inside. There were about a dozen people on it so none of us had to work too hard. And me in my long johns and three shirts and jacket. These fans called Big A$$ Fans were installed over the summer and they run slow now, and push all the heat down to the floor. Very effective.

Clint I love the place but I think it looks a little run down. I can't imagine what you were thinking. It will look 1000% better when I get the grass mowed and a couple of those trees taken down. Not sure what I want to do for a front door. I'll have to get a couple more cars over there and see how I want to arrange things and work.

And now Johnny Cash is singing me to sleep. Have a good day everyone see you later.

Hi everyone.

Allan, Jamesbo, thank you for the occasional reminder that we need to right click and save when we post something big.

Dogs were relentless today. I think they got me up four times between 8 and 2. Finally I denounced them but couldn't get back to sleep. It must have been my imagination but I could swear I saw my boy gloat about that.

Rain tonight, and all day tomorrow. Good for sleeping, probably will sleep most of the day and not get anything done. Monday I'm going back to SC to get the Camaro with my neighbor. Won't get anything done that day, either.

Clint that's an artifact. I think I have HD oil in the garage still, but it's in plastic bottles. I sold my bike in 03. Oh another oil question. What will really happen if I put turbine oil in my car? That question gets asked at work periodically and the only answer, which really sounds like tribal knowledge, is "it eats the seals." Some of the oil at the new shop I think is turbine oil and I thought about putting it in the Saturn, since it's due for a rebuild in about 1400 miles.

Guess I'll get going. Friday tonight. Not sure what lies in wait. Have a good evening everyone.

Okee dokee, let's do this again

Mebbe try this again

Just got in from shovelling. I'm getting too old for this and it gives me chest pains. Not enough of it to warrant the Sno Tek yet.

Clint - those HD oil cans? You should call up American Pickers and have them visit Colorado. They're always on the prowl for stuff that's oil and motorcycle, and rusty. I see you got all 3 there. Oil can, with HD and it's got rust patina on the top/bottom. Win/win/win. I bet its worth about 20 or 30 bucks. Maybe sell them a burro too??

Jim - Nice dat yer walkin wit red dog. When ya git done wit dat ya kin lone him to me and I'll take him fer a spell. Onlee i'll let ya know where we wokked so you can scoop any poop he squats fer. I don't kleen poop. Duz he like wokkin in de snow?

Mike - I have no idea what happened. I hit the post button and the CO site disappeared. I know how the site usually works and use the 'remember me' at login. Sometimes I forget to log off at times and find that I'm still logged in the next day. How embarrassing. I kind of like the look of the place with the trees and seclusion, but I see a bush hog in your near future. Don't put crap oil in the Saturn just because you plan on rebuilding it in 1400 miles. That's no guarantee you'll have the time to do it, and just a heads up? Saturn engines aren't the easiest in the world to remove and reinstall. Right Clint?

Dan - if I had seen a free Toro blower at the curb I'd have taken it too. I could get it up and running again and keep it or make a quick sale. One of the neighbors on the main street put out a B Ball hoop and post with a free sign on it. Stayed there for over 2 weeks and then he hauled it to de dump. Guess it depends on the market of what's being offered. Don't let the wind catch the free sign and land it on your car. BTW 32.4 and counting still. Couple days ago when the eye pad battery tanked I was afraid it would take my game with it, but nope. I wish I knew how puters remember all that stuff.

The Grand Slam of Curling quarter and semi finals were today. My hero Glenn Howard got knocked out, but Heath McCormick from the US made it to the semi's. He played Mark McEwen but lost 5-2. So tomorrow is the finals, Brad Jacobs (team Canada) vs. Mark McEwen (wanna be Team Canada). Should be really good. Both have incredible talent and win records. I know you guys don't follow curling, but I don't follow the Saints or Panthers. Guess we all know what we like though.

Morning everyone

Clear and cold 14* here this morning. Soda warm up to around 30 later on.

Jim, dats on sportsnet around 3:30 ET later today. You might not get that sort of like I don't get Velocity channel up here. It's a conspiracy of de TV networks I tink.

Clint, Brit was looking really spectacular on your FB pic.

Everyone seems to be sleeping late here today, guess I'll just have koffee by myself. Enjoy your day.

Kwik 'Mernin'

'Twer a storm passed o'er us, but gettin' sunny now. Spose to be nice rest o'day. Gotta' wash dem carz 2day.

Y'all have great day of the Sun, Oldsmofriends.

p.s.: Jamesbo, me never cared for the home-town brews neither ;-) I'm too young to say I really knew what Regal tasted like; but I hated Dixie -- we used to say it was the stuff they mopped off the floors at the Falstaff brewery, which was no great shakes, either, IMHO... But Falstaff had the coolest sign in the N.O. area, and some good, sentimental souls restored it to its former glory after Katrina and it shines every night through the city's canopy, clearly visible from I-10. I have great memories of that sign as a kid -- it was actually a weather indicator... Depending on the direction of the sequential letter illumination (up or down) and the color of the globe on top, you could tell the weather forecast.... That was some pretty cool stuff to an 8-y.o. -- and is still pretty cool 50 yrs. later ;-)

Hi everyone.

Rain and we got a little thunder to go along with it. The dogs have since calmed down a little and I think the rain will end around 6.

Inside day today. Think I'll do a little house cleaning. I gotta go back over and get the trailer for our trip tomorrow. I love my neighbor but he can get to be a little much. But after hiking him up to New Jersey and back more than once, South Carolina is a breeze.

Allan, I've been putting crap oil in the Saturn exclusively for the past 15000 miles. It doesn't stay in there long enough to cause any harm. I need to start researching how it will be to get the motor out. I'm also going to have the trans done so I wonder if I should do the motor first or the trans first. Trans guy wants it in the car so he can road test when he's done.

John I didn't start drinking beer, or anything else for that matter, until well into my 20s. However, I ran with a guy in high school that drank Strohs. That and Old Style. Don't remember them to be exquisite at all. I gave up drinking beer a few years ago when I realized that I don't really like it.

Guess I'll do something. Gonna light up the stove since I don't have plans to go anywhere. I can get the trailer tomorrow. Have a good afternoon everyone.

Mike, by the time you're done rebuilding the engine and trans for that Saturn? You sure it's worth it? Could probably buy another used beater for a lot less. Check the front subframe for corrosion on the left side. BTW, what is the source of your oil leak?
