My Olds at a School formal

Hi everyone,

I have used the Olds in two Formals (Proms) last week. The young fellow next door, and the daughter of a friend.
Both asked me if I wouldn't mind using the Olds to drive them there.

Absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to brighten someone's special night and make it that much better and memorable for them.

The feedback from using such a rare vehicle to deliver the guys has been phenomenal. I saw a Chev Biscayne and Impala both nights, pretty common here. Not only has the young lady I dropped off been asked about the car by other students, she has teachers approaching her wanting to know how she come across it.

Thanks,

It was a great excuse to spruce it up and take it for a drive.

I did it for my niece some years ago too, travelled to Canberra (10 hour round trip) and stayed a few nights.

The parents of the young fellow and the young girl are good friends with us, they just needed to be delivered about half an hour away at a fairly swanky golf resort, its funny, same place but on different nights. In my day, my dad dropped me off in a Holden to my high school hall for our formal.
