Clearly using grade #balsawood fasteners. My personal favorite is Mad Max (1979), no cgi, no special affects and on a shoestring budget. Ten years ahead of it’s time, George Miller never ceases to disappoint. Unfortunately, I thought it was a driver’s education film..
Or when they drove "The Car" over the quarry cliff at the end of the movie. That was terrible abuse. I loved that car. It scared the hell out of me as a kid.
The “Fall Guy” truck actually had a mid-mounted engine next to the driver to adjust the center of gravity for those spectacular jumps. If it hadn’t, it would have done major nose dives and the landings would have been catastrophic. Just a fun fact
How many cars did they use up filming "Bullit"?. I understood each time the cars jumped during the chase through town they smashed the suspension and needed another car for the next take. Also many of the shots were the same take from a different camera. Green VW Bug's were very popular in those days.....

I haven't seen that beginning in years. I do. remember that suspension not loving life on the landings.
