You are definitely an Olds enthusiast and have an eye for detail... BUT, the younger generations today would have absolutely no clue what is or is not correct... You would have thought, however, the movie producers (prop manager) would have given some thought as to who would be watching the movie and how much attention may be given to the details, however minor it may seem...

They got CLOSE, but just missed the mark. It's not like there aren't any nice 1970 Cutlass' out there that would have fit the bill. Even if this were to be later in 1970, I think it would be incorrect due to the labor strike at GM. When did production start on the 1971 models because of that?

I should be a movie troubleshooter. I've seen this many times. A 4 cylinder shitz box car sounds like a side piped vette and then there is the obligatory brake squeak at all stops. Was just watching an old episode of Blue Bloods. Jamie was at the indoor range with the commissioners .38 short snub. He's squeezing off rounds and you here brass dropping...FROM A REVOLVER. Leave no brass idiots! Hollywood.

Ya know those movies, commercials, etc where they show the wilderness and you hear the hawk / eagle call? Well I have been active in the Arizona desert and mountains for 20 years now and I still have not heard that. I have heard a lot of hawks calling to their partners, but that is a completely different sound than what is depicted on TV.
