Well- I guess Mary Ann and Gilligan have fired up a big fat doobie and are jamming to the Professor's coconut radio. Dawn Wells died today aged 82.
Tina Louise is the only Gilligan's Island cast member left and she's 86. I always thought Mary Ann was hotter than Ginger.

Ginger Grant -- Tina Louise & Mary Ann Summers -- Dawn Wells. Were both very beautiful ladies, inside and out....
Ginger was the movie star, the very glorious and statuesque , sophisticated lady.
Mary Ann was the gorgeous, girl next door, everyone's friend, and stunning, as well.
That was one of the charms of the show... The age old question, as we were growing up was"Are you a Ginger guy or a Mary Ann guy ????"
A few tidbits about Mary Ann / Dawn Wells.....
She was a runner up for Miss America in 1959.
She beat out 350 women, including Raquel Welch, for the role of Mary Ann.
She was known to be naturally pleasant in every interview and social setting for her entire life...
Planet Earth has lost a true ANGEL.... R I P Dawn Wells.... We all LOVED ya' .......

Several years ago Dawn Wells was the guest of honor at a roller derby. My wife got free tickets to the evert so I couldn’t argue with the price. I was lucky enough to be standing about 3 seats in from the end of the aisle when she walked by. I hadn’t seen her on TV for years, I was amazed at how good she looked.
Anyone seen a recent pic of Tina Louis (ginger)? All I can say is if your buying plastic surgery, definitely don’t cheap out!!

She didn't age gacefully herself. At least, she didn't end up looking like a bottox-lipped meth head like Tina Blacker alias "Louise" did:
I think she aged very well. When I saw her at the roller derby if didn’t know better I would have never guessed she was in her 70s. Most women would be thrilled to look as good as her.
