Probably all young and reckless, and not a day over 80. They'd go tearing all around town with the top down and a gaggle of floozies in the rumble seat, and wouldn't set the spark advance right.

Geez, and I thought I was doing great with a car that's only 42 years old. That really sets the bar, but I have no intention of trying to put a million miles on just to catch up. These rare people and their cars are exceptions to the rile IMO.

I read your article. 170,000 miles I can believe. The link in the original post states over a million miles. That was more miles than I personally could believe for an open car.
