I don't know the details, only that it was posted on Facebook today that we lost Les Putnam (442Garage) today...

He was a super nice guy, and so supportive of the hobby & Oldsmobiles.
I only had the chance to meet him in person once, but we talked online many times over the last few years as i built my 455 and worked on my 66. He had invited me up to see his cars several times, but it just never happened... :-(

Rip Les, my condolences to his family and friends.

 

As others stated Les was a very nice guy came to my place when I was building the 57 and we visited for most of the day.

 

Sorry to hear about this. Les was a very nice guy and always helpful.

 

I agree, Les was a really nice guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family in their time of loss.
