My dad is giving me his 1999 Harley Davidson Softtail Night Train. The only problem is the bike is in Alabama and I'm in California. I see these brokers online that have shippers compete to get your business. I would rather deal direct with the shipper. That way I can be sure they have experience moving bikes. Does anybody have any experience shipping a motorcycle? Any ideas on cost? Thanks in advance.

 

Put a bid ad up on Uship. Try and stay away from the big companies and find a retired guy or someone who does it with a truck and trailer. Shouldn't be too expensive because bikes are small and easy to add to a load.
