Maybe it is an Oldsmobuick:
Definition 1 - "Piece-of-*hit car driven by the divorce lawyer of Fletch's ex-wife."
Definition 2 - "A word coined by Fletch to describe any large American sedan. Many models by Oldsmobile, Buick, Chevrolet, Lincoln, Chrysler, and Ford in the 60s-80s were virtually indistinguishable. 'Oldsmobuick' is the useful generic term for this type of vehicle. In the 90s, these sedans became less boxy, but it is still difficult to tell one manufacturer's model from the other. Thus the term 'Oldsmobuick' still applies."

him: no i am not at home rite now i can send u the pix around 4 when i get home from work i apologize
me: no problem, by your ad it sounded like you could send them immediately, no problem
him: i will send you pics around that time. but by your cell # it doesn't seem like you are in the texas area, cuz i stay in fresno TX and i don't accept checks, i will not travel
me: i'd be sending a trailor with cash if i end up wanting it
him: okay, i'll send you pics ASAP

i just read your engine dyno thread....u mention $1600 cost for the alternator, brackets, and pulley's....i'm guessing that's the Mondello rip off setup?? i'm not knocking the setup, i think it's badass, but i also think they make about $600-800 everytime they sell a complete setup. i cannot see those parts costing THEM more than $800. i offered them $1200 for everything (no AC) and they said no. i can't justify that much cash on a pulley/bracket system.

Oh yeah, I really want that whole Mondello accessory setup...maybe one day if I have some cash to blow I'll take the dive. I always seem to find other things more worth the money, but damn it looks sexy and not many people have it.
Here's the sacred Buick Cutlass:

OMG a 93 Cutlass Ciera SL. Body looks to be in good shape. What else did you find out? That was the top o the line Cierra in 93 and could have a 2.2 DOHC or the Buick 3.3 engine. Maybe he's looking at the engine lable? During those years, I can't remember if they left the division nameplates on the engine or not.

Was thinking the same thing...He say how many miles on it or an OBO? More important, does he have title?

I'd buy that and have a new daily driver.
Not a bad looking car. Probably needs a new Lower Intake manifold gasket though. Meh $120 and a few hours of my time
Has ABS and needs a belt, NOW!! Look at the alternator and PS Pump. If it had a belt, you would see it on the PS Pump and alt, not the groves

Looking at that engine again I see the following.
- Alternator is new or at least newer.
- Coolant is full which means either a LIMG was leaking and dude filled it up or it's just been driven before the pic was taken, but it looks overfilled to me
- Upper manifold is very clean, possible finger prints on it meaning LIMG was just done
- Looks like the throttle cable is over by the battery, and nowhere near the Throttle Body
- bolt missing on pass side upper strut mount
- power steering pully has a small chip in it could be nothing, could be the start of a crack
