Knee replacment
Glad to hear about the tomorrow thing, one good thing about going through bad things is we start to appreciate the good things again. Best wishes in your continued improvement.
Another Christmas we can enjoy.

It was right at a year before mine felt like "my" knee, but I was glad I had it done within a couple of weeks of the surgery. Of course, I was told I needed a replacement in 1978, but that I would have to wait until at least age 50 if I could. Finally got it done in 2010, and there was so much bone worn off by then the new knee felt like walking with one shoe on and one shoe off! Now, I usually walk a mile or two before 6:45 a.m.. Hang in there on the therapy!

Knee is much worse
I've had the R knee done 12 years ago--its a little loose but still trucking. Little tricks
As soon as you wake up get a rolled up towel under your heel. My surgeon makes you do it. Get the leg extended while the pain meds are in you and before the scar tissue sets up!!! I still recall the guy in therapy with a 180lb therapist bouncing on his knee on a hard tharapy table while he yelled and cried.
After your into life again maintain a tight joint. Gym or lots of backing into the wall -- feet about a foot ar 18 inches away--go into a 1/2 crouch and push up do 10 or 20 a day. Build the quadracepts muscle.
Mine was complicated --crushed the entire leg at age of 16 --they wanted to amputate my Mother saved my leg.
Good Luck

A little set back, got tangled up with the pup last night and fell in to all things my Old's. Didn't smash it (Old's or knee) but rather over extended it as I fell over the dog, good and sore today. Stupid decision on my part
