I keep on looking at the forum and looking for Joe’s replies even though I no longer have my 71 Convertible. So many members here taught me so much and I continue to learn from Joe! Such a contributor! Thank you all for making CO so valuable.

I was just going to mention the old Chubecto list server, which is where the FAQ came from, warts and all. Misinformation on the web isn't a new thing.

Alllw me to restore a sense of reality. 😁

 

I was on the Chubecto list for about the last 2 years of it, circa 05 or so.

I need an Ask Joe app for my phone.

 

Met Joe at a few nationals and then have met with him and others for drinks/talks. Not the same guy you think you know from the site. On line he is very direct- some say grumpy- but in person, a great friendly guy with a sense of humor. I had more than one person tell me they were really surprised how nice Joe actually is in person.

 

When ever I get on this site I always look what Joe has to contribute, his knowledge has been very rewarding, thank you Joe!

 

Joe P has ruined a lot of great "stories" with correct facts.

 

Thanks for all your Oldsmobile knowledge Joe. I've even run into some of your posts on other sites when I investigate general automotive tech. 👍

 

I’ve only been part of this group since June of 2022, but the questions I’ve posed and and the ones Joe has responded to have been correct, to the point, and no judgement on my lack of knowledge. I will say the same about the others who have responded as well! A great sight to be a part of!
