It's finally raining!

Rain for the Highland Lakes.
2:30 to 5:30... 5 1/2 inches!
Had to go out and empty the gauge...still raining.
Man this is great! I just had to share.
This should really help our lakes, they were trying to dry up.

Being in jersey it's a little hard to fully appreciate your joy of rain but I have been following the plight of southern states droughts etc, so I am happy for you folks unless of course this is the day you decided to spray your car
I suspect you will need 40 days and 40 nights to get things semi back to normal

Lucky you.
We did not get a drop out here in this parched desert. As soon as it got within a few miles it vanished and reassembled when it was across the county line. It does that very often here...

Hmmm, the weather down there can't win for love of money!
I do believe that's the rain I was asked to send down about 2 weeks ago? Told ya it was coming via USPS. I see their delivery time has improved slightly

With the 7 inches they got in Leander, it may come
up a foot or more before the end of the weekend, nice,
you guys need some real bad.
We are fortunate to live on Lake Marble Falls and able to
work over on LBJ alot. Both are constant level...SWEET!
As of 9 this morning, another 3/4 inch. Total in MF for my
backyard so far, 6 1/4.

Hey, it took them 2 weeks. It was the cheapest shipping rate I could get. BTW TX now owes me $4,287. 54 for shipping...Prolly US customs held it at the border for a while? No wonder I'm always broke. I'll take that in cashiers check or bank draft. No VISA or Paypal - the fees are too high.

Damn my luck!, just had the wettest summer in over 100 years and in 12 days time we will be in Texas, a little west of Marble Falls in Llano.
Would you do a little anti rain dance for us please?, just for two weeks would be fine.
Roger.

After a peak 105* last week here in dallas, two major cold fronts came through and yesterday (9-14) was a cold 75* for a high.
It is interesting to say, that last year, same time, the same thing happened. I did not realize that until rereading my underhood resto thread last night (to bring back both memories and nightmares!)
