My wife and I went to a few flea markets yesterday. This sign was on the doors leading to one of the bathroom. Needless to say, neither of us went in!

Being near the southern border I understand this.

At the gas stations / truck stops near the border people leave toilet paper on the floor in the restrooms. My suspicion is that south of the border it is not customary to flush TP as it is in the States, so without easy access to trash cans the paper is left in a corner on the floor.

 

That is true. Down in Mexico flushing paper is frowned upon in any place with a substandard septic, which is basically anywhere outside of a resort. The cans smell lovely, too.

 

Ok, this was south of me. Southern indiana!!
