This is a great story. It is almost hard to believe.

Incredible that all through life, it didn't get traded on a station wagon or something. The article doesn't say anything about children. Maybe she'll be buried in it. Wouldn't be the first time.

Great story !! for me during the read I keyed in on the fact that she said she grew up on a farm I believe that has a lot to do with her maintaining and keeping the Olds, my moms side of the family had several farmers (mid west Indiana ) and they throw nothing out and fix every thing !! when last I visited the farm in the 80's my uncle Roderick was still using 1930's John Deer model B tractors and a 1937 Ford Stake truck !!
I think when I saw him using a torch to cherry a head gasket for one of those model B,s (on a whole summer visit in the early 70"s ) is when I decided to become a mechanic. I'm sure If old Rod were still alive he'd still be using those tractors. good for that old gal keeping that Olds on the road.
