Help a merc buddy

I know this is a strange request but I have a buddy who just bought a 1956 Mercury Niagra and he is having a hard time finding parts. What he needs is a good club or forum to join like CO that would help him out. Right now he needs a manifold for a 223 6 cyl. Anyone here who might also own a classic Ford or Merc and be on a good club?

I'm sure he can find miscellaneous parts through Kanter. Of course, he will probably have to find that manifold from a parts car, unless an aftermarket manifold is produced. Here is a website that seems similar to OCA.

Have him call Big M Auto @ 530-473-2225 or go to www.bigmauto.com.

My husband started out saving Mercs and ford and then went to all domestic. John can also direct him to other merc resources.

He should be able to find help over on www.aaca.org . He also needs to find out which American Mercury model(s) his Meteor Niagara crosses to. I think drivetrains were pretty much identical between American and Canadian Fords.
