Heisman Trophy winner ???
This just in - in early balloting, Barack Obama has been awarded the 2010 Heisman Trophy after attending his first ever football game Saturday. Democrats responded to criticism saying the fact that Mr Obama had never played made him uniquely qualified for the award. Former prez Clinton added that Mr Obama's seat on the 50 yard line at Saturday's game gave him "great vision" and was probably the deciding factor in his selection

ROTFLMAO!
Just think how poor Sandy (Cutlassgal) feels, she works like a dog on that car and hasn't even won a trophy yet.

As to why it was awarded, look no further than Reuters:
So, as leader of the most powerful nation on earth, working for peaceful solutions worldwide seems to be of some value.
Or, you know, he could just say something like "screw Saddam, we're taking him out," and then go after the wrong country...
The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama's vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons. ------
Obama has as President created a new climate in international politics. Multilateral diplomacy has regained a central position, with emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play. Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts.
------
The vision of a world free from nuclear arms has powerfully stimulated disarmament and arms control negotiations. Thanks to Obama's initiative, the USA is now playing a more constructive role in meeting the great climatic challenges the world is confronting. Democracy and human rights are to be strengthened.

I said like a dog.
Sandy is tenacious as a pit bull about me painting that engine though.
We'll git 'er done somehow Miss Sandy, too bad it's too cool out now.
Just say you're going to paint it to the judges and you should win for good intentions the way things are going anymore.
I think I may need about 30 tons of raw steel jazzed up so maybe we can work something out.
I won't take money, one drip and I would never get paid anyway.
Remember, it has to be apart for a day or two so that may cut into your show schedule too much.
Need a good place to do it and mass quantities of beer, consumed after it's finished or the work is done for the day or you may end up with a Chebby orange engine and engine compartment.

Oh My God - will you really paint it for me????? I am happier than a pig in siiiittt!!!! It will look so beautiful!!! Like the picture of Allan R's on that "Olds Gold Paint" thread a few days ago!
Oh My God!! This is better than christmas!!! Well, we have all long cold winter to discuss it! We'll figure something out! Larry has overhead cranes in the new shop - should be able to lift a motor out with those!! And we can put it on the towmotor and lift it up and I'll clean it real good - God, I'm sooooo excited!!! Of course I don't know if any of those ideas will work in reality, but just throwing them out! I'm just smiling, and laughing.... my day just got so bright!!!!!!
I am going to have her wet sanded and buffed out in the spring, so if I have to miss a few shows, it's ok. I can buy beer - don't like to, but I will! I may even shove a burger down your throat!! LOL!!!! And of course I will pay - her seals leak anyhow - whats a little more oil? As my nephew would say, it's good undercoating! LOL!! Oh My God!! That's just awsome of you!!!!!
