Got the bride to the church on time.

A good friend of mine Chuck Fram who owns Chuck's Speed Shop in Windsor Ontario called me last week with a favor. His god daughter was getting married on Saturday August 5th. She like Chuck is a lover of old muscle cars and she wanted to be driven to the church in one. Chuck sent her some pics of friends cars and let her pick the one she wanted to go in. She picked me!

Saturday was hot and muggy. Typical for us lately. I called Chuck in the morning to double check if Robbi still wanted to do this or, I could shine up the Charger R/T and take her in that. She wanted the Olds.

Everything went great Robbi was a trooper for how hot it was. The church was only 15 minutes from the house so she wasn't too melty.

Attached is a pic of Robbi in front of the Olds.

Very cool, I hope to have many Oldsmobiles in my daughters weddings. So plan on 10 - 15 years from now I'll be asking the same favor to all those close by

Yeah, but by then some of us might need to have prescription windshields installed, and a pacemaker backup for the cigar lighter

Very Nice!!!!!!, When my wife and I were married in 2001, we rode from the church to the reception downtown Ft Worth in a 455 powered 1940 Series 90 two door coupe. I hope that Robby's memory of that ride is as fond and strong as ours is today. So inspired, I purchased my own '40 series 90 coupe in April of this year. Perhaps my boys may like to take a similar ride in the very distant future. Good times!!!!!

Well then, you'll just have to give the cars to my girls as their wedding present. I have three girls by the way.

I got a few pics from the photographer for the wedding. Enjoy. The black and white one is my favorite. I also got a very nice thank you letter from Robbi and her husband.

I LOVE the last b&w one on an artistic level. Nicely shot.

Plus she has this "...you better get outta my way MEN! I am in a HURRY!" look. That or "...you gettin in? We are already late and I'm driving!"
