God Bless Texas, and it's mild winters :)

This one is for our Northern brethren who have had to pack up their cars for the winter. While it sucks you can't drive your Olds for a few months, at least you can live vicariously through those of us who can.

After a parade yesterday, and a shorts and t-shirt cruise today...I have a new-found respect for our warmer climate. I used to curse 80 degree Christmas days, but now that I see what you guys go through up North I can proudly say that I love living in Texas...at least during the winter Cheers to all of you guys who tough it out in the snow and ice!

I'm with you, Steve! While Georgia's winters are a little colder than yours, it still beats the pants off the midwest winters I grew up with.

Very cool! I like the stickers on your back window. Were these custom made?

What you don't know is that I took that picture with my new cell phone. I really just took it to send to Joesw31 because he and I always brag to the other when one of us goes to Rudy's. We both love it lol! What you also don't see is that the car is FILTHY with a capital F! My new phone has an 8 megapixel camera on it and the sunset cast the perfect light on it to conceal the dirt. Hell, that car hasn't been washed since a month before the San Antonio BOP race. It still has "GM3" in shoe polish on the front window lol! It really is dirty, the pic hides alot!

Yes, they are custom made. I had the same sticker on my high school Cutlass. Since this back window is out of my high school car I had the sticker re-made because that one was peeling. If you can find a graphics / sticker maker in your area, have them search for the Aurora emblem and the "Oldsmobile" in block letters. They can put them together on their computer and get the dimensions perfect before they ever cut the sticker.

If you are interested I can measure the sticker dimensions to give you an idea...I don't remember them off hand.

Hit 60 deg. up here in MN. Last drive around the block yesterday. Spending today putting it to sleep for the winter. Had thought I would have it stored before now but a few warm days and a few more last minute repairs and she still is awake. Low 20's and snow on Saturday she won't be going any place now.
Now its time to leave the parts/ equipment catalogs out in the open for the wife to get Christmas gift ideas...IT WORKS EVRY TIME!!

Yes the winters in TX are great but those summers are brutal! They really test your A/C, cooling system, interior protection and waxing habits to save your paint! Actually will be going back to get some stuff out of storage finally after 3yrs! :-)
