The garage

I recently discovered a new web site and, admittedly, I have spent hours surfing there. It's called garagejournal.com I couldn't possibly be the only Olds nut that has discovered this place, can I?? A lot of the guys on this site are car guys, but not all. What I have noticed is a serious lack of anything Oldsmobile on this site. I plan to post some pics of my new garage and my cars soon.

Our next house is currently under construction and we expect to move in around April 1st. It has a nice 3-car attached garage and I'm hoping I can set it up to look good, show off my cars, and also allow me room to work on the cars and do projects for the house and the yard.

The garage site is chock full of all kinds of creative ideas for work areas, flooring, storage, lighting, electrical, heating/cooling, etc. If it's garage related you'll find something about it here. And very much like CO, there are a lot of guys with a lot of experience and they're very willing to help by sharing their knowledge.

There is also a gallery where guys show there garage builds, refurbs, toys, problems, questions, etc. There is everything from a little 1-car apartment type garage all the way to the Lambo-Ferrari-Porsche palace. But most are just the average guy trying to make the best of what he's got to work with and within a budget.

Here's a few of my favorites...

Now don't go and blame me cuz you just spent your lunch hour surfing garage journal and you forgot to eat!

One of my favorite sites.

So where are you building a new place? I'm going crazy still waiting to break ground on my new shop.

We're staying in Melissa...just moving to a new place across town.

I've gotten so many ideas from garagejournal, but budget will dictate how much I can do and how soon. I'll have to prioritize but I'm still really looking forward to having a clean slate to work with.
(btw, I love the wheels on your wagon!)
