A pleasant drive through the mountains, about 150 miles round trip from the house. We had about 31 cars in our little caravan and the photos are after the late model Vettes went their separate ways. I was not the only Olds this trip, a friend brought his Vista.
It looked to be lots of fun. Too bad the late models think they are in the same class as classics. I know they love to make tours, but why can't they arrange their own.

Yes sir, that is Bryans Vista. Initially I had planned a few months ago on attending a large car show today, the cruise sure beat the hell out of sitting around in the heat.

Is that Vista a 72? Kind of hard to tell. I owned a 72 Vista Cruiser that was the light yellow (sorry I don't know the paint color name). Had the woodgrain. White bench seat interior. No roof rack. It was used as a tow car for five different years in the Winter Nationals. Some of the coolest old stickers that I have ever had on a car. Winter National Participant stickers. Lined up on the windshield. Anyway cool Vista. Is that on here somewhere in a post?
They had one of my favorite car shows here in Wylie yesterday but I didn't go. It was just too damn hot and I seem to have lost some of my enthusiasm after covid. I think a cruise is lots more fun.
