Fifty years later (after my first support missions) & it still fits. Thank you to everyone in all branches (civil & military) who committed time to protect the freedoms we guarantee to everyone in our country, esp. our POW & MIA. You will never be forgotten.
They did for awhile - I had like 3 or 4 pairs. Over the years I elected to use them for various projects and they were eventually destroyed. I got my money's worth.
My Old Man is a WW2 vet and still doing well,a navy TBM gunner but never went overseas, My uncle was killed in pacific theater in the Qualchan (sp) island after making it through the assault in the Aleutians Alaska. My uncle on my mom's side was a cook and had two ships sunk from under him, the last was a carrier. We observe Memorial day with a passion..... TYedd

I have been blessed to be 1 of 8 kids of our ww2 parents Lt Col Jas. S O'Connor Army Air Corp Recon B 17 with RAF Eng 1944-45 2530 years AF Reserve / Lasion Officer AFA & Lt Helen O'Connor Armay 44-45 MASH unit deployed from WA Hosp.DC to Battle of the Bulge & Normandy Both laids to rest at Fort Sheridan.
And are blessed with 2 living brothers (NAVY) and 2 brother in laws (Marines)
And I have the privilege since '91 of placing the 30 plus 4 x 6 flags on parade pole our main drag or Avenue any and all special days of the year
That's me in Korea in 1969 at 139 pounds but put on some pounds now like 225 lbs. The second pic is my Dad 5 years ago just before he died. He served in WW 11 as a plane repair but did some flying on missions too. He was in the Army Air Corp. he passed at 84 and I'm 73 now..
