A neighbor told me about this website a couple years ago: vettix.org. They offer deep discount event tickets to veterans. Basically you just pay a handling charge for the tickets. I registered with them and got tickets to the 400 at Daytona that year, cost me about $20.00 per ticket as I recall. You will need info from your DD-214 to register with them; possibly being registered with "ID me" would suffice. When you register with them you select the type of events that interest you and your geographical area. I live in southeast Georgia, very close to Jacksonville, Florida and receive info on concerts and sporting events in a couple hundred mile radius. As of today they still have tickets available for the NHRA GatorNationals finals next Sunday.
