E.d.c.
E.d.c.
For those not familiar E.D.C. is a acronym for every day carry, I have a EDC knife that I put in my pocket religiously every morning when I get up, It is called a Gentleman's knife its a spring assisted lock blade, It's not a expensive knife in fact it's a cheap knife I purchased off of Amazon , however it serves me well. The reason I buy inexpensive knives is because since I have the habit of putting it in my pocket every
morning I have gone to Baseball games and football games where I have forgotten about them and had to surrender them at the gate, happened at the airport once so.ever since then I just carry el-cheapo's ( I do however own some quality knives)
EDC does not have to be a knife I know some people that have EDC pocket flash lights, even EDC jewelry my wife has a necklace that
has little charms on it for each of our grandchildren she puts it on every single day we have left the house a few times and she has forgotten it, completely freaks out and makes me turn around so she can get it.
Some people have lucky coins they carry etc... so do you have a EDC or lucky charm that you always have with you ?

I carry a small pocket knife almost everyday. I almost had to surrender it at a hospital about 6 years ago. I like to use it at work for opening boxes. I also use my pen and my fist to open boxes as well.
I carry a pocket knife always and have since the 6th grade or maybe before. My best was an old Case stock non stainless knife and I carried it for about 15 years. It got itself lost... Damn I miss that knife. Today I have a knife my dad gave me from a Shriners promo, not a bad knife but if I was to pick another knife I probably go with a old Shrade carbon steel knife but I would have to buy it from a collector as everything now a days is Shrade Walton and only made in stainless that I have found.
Ever noticed that knives come in two kinds, keepers and losers. Doesn't matter what the value is if a knife is loser you will soon be buying another. If it is a keeper it will show up right away..... Tedd

My Dad used to have a flat, stainless steel pocket knife that he carried everywhere. At some point, he lost it. A few years ago, I was in a flea market and was looking through their knives, and lo-and-behold, there it was. Not my Dad's exact same knife that he had lost, but the same knife model that hasn't been made for 20 or so years. I asked to see it, took a picture, sent it to Dad... "YEP! THAT'S IT!" I bought it and gave it to him next time I was visiting, no way was I going to make him wait for Christmas.
As noted I stopped buying expensive knives for EDC because I wind up surrendering them ( I have surrendered at least 3)
when I surrendered the 2nd one I went right back to Amazon to purchase another one because I liked it so much, I have had this one for about 2 years now. I don't know how in the hell they sell this knife at this price !! the spring assist is fast and reliable and it seems to hold a edge pretty well and the handle is comfortable I only paid $7.00 When I know I'm doing chores around the house or working on a project I put this in my pocket in the morning, I have grown quite fond of it its pretty handy with the phillips head and flat blade screw driver, wire stripper and bottle opener.https://www.witmermotorservice.com/4...tem/48-22-1505
