I saw these youngsters outside of the local home improvement store today. Asked for a pic showing their unit number (for reasons obvious to those here).
when I told them why I liked their unit number and showed them a pic of my Olds they literally started jumping up and down waving their hands in the air. I may have created some monsters 😁
Obviously you took the picture either before or after they were jumping up & down waving their hands in the air. The young man on the left looks like he wants to rip your face off. LOL
Hay guys. Kids like pictures, any pictures, and when is the last time you have seen kids on an outing not raising hell and having fun. Just part of the game of being a kid.... Tedd
Long as the kids thought the car was cool you've done your part. Maybe you've planted a seed.
One of the local troops ambushed me in front of Lowe's a few Christmases ago. One of them, 12 or so, was a helluva salesman. Ended up with a gallon bucket of something similar to Cracker Jack, which though it was delicious I had absolutely no business with.
I asked his dad if the kid had put in his resume at the Chevy dealer yet and the dad howled. "His Mama tells him the same thing!" And the smooth-talking kid just grinned.

Well obviously this picture was taken before I told them that as per the explanation lol

Those guys can be smooth talkers! I bought some of the snacks they were selling a few weeks ago but had not finished the bag by a long shot. I simply wanted to support an organization that helps these youngsters on the right path.
I'm a big advocate of Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts as I am an Eagle Scout. Buying popcorn or Christmas trees is a good way to support your local Troop/Pack as most of the money isn't sent up to corporate.
Yes. I see these boys out there every weekend and buy popcorn and just take it to work for the guys. It’s important to reward the effort from these kids
