Cruise-in at Ginny's Frozen Custard, Barnhart. MO #1
Hi guys,
Went to a really nice cruise-in at a frozen custard place this afternoon/evening only about 5-miles from my house. Really good turnout of nice cars as you'll see from the pictures. There will be 2 posts, I hope you enjoy the pics!
Some nice cars and trucks that showed up. Thanks for sharing the pictures Chris looks like you got a good spot up by the building. Glad you had no rain.
Wow. Holy crap so many unusual cars there. That Avanti convertible is one of how many? You always post such cool pictures. That damn 67 442 keeps showing up. 🤣😂
Thank You so much for showing us that it is all about all of us.
Holy crap was there actually not a putzstang picture?... Seen one seen them all. Oops there was. I love a Galaxy all day. Beautiful diversity of cars. So many nice cars. El Camino's don't get the love they deserve.

Keith, no1oldsfan, Norm, Mike, and Glenn - Thanks to all you guys for the compliments and comments on the pictures, I'm glad you enjoyed them! My favorite part of this hobby is sharing my car and experiences with other enthusiasts and spectators.
Don't see a Retractable very often anymore. I think that's my favorite. Of course I'm not biased, I used to have one just like it.
Mike/Norm - That's the owner sitting behind the car in the picture. When I went to take the photo I told him I might have to stand on the other side of the street to get all of his car in the picture and he cracked up! 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta love that Comet too. 59-60 El Camino's are another favorite of mine. One of my neighbors bought a 72 SS 454 El Camino new. It has only ever been a show car/truck. I have lived by him for six years or so. Never once seen it out of the garage. Beautiful truck.

It's nice your neighbor has such a pristine and desirable El Camino, and if it's a high end show car I can kind of understand why he doesn't get it out much. However, it also seems like kind of a waste to me too. I'm sure you've noticed how much I have my car out. A total of 34-events last season, that included 19 cruise-ins and 15 judged shows. To me the interaction with the other owners and spectators is much more important than the car itself, or any trophy on a shelf.

I have only heard him fire it up three times in six years. We have an alley so it wakes up the neighborhood ha ha. I love it. He offered it to me for 25k. I think it's worth it but I have no room. Super cool truck. I want to say it has 31 thousand miles. 72 was the last year you could get an SS 454 El Camino.

WOW! That's a damn nice gathering and some not often seen cars! Thank you so much for sharing; I too enjoy seeing the pictures you post!
67OAI - Glad you enjoyed the pics and really appreciate you saying you enjoy them! I am fortunate we have alot of cruise-ins and judged shows most weekends here in the greater St. Louis area from April - October. This one just happens to be less than 5-miles from me.
