Anyone else hate the new and "improved" Photobucket?

About three months ago I kept getting messages they were rolling out a new version make the switch now so I did. I did not like it and switched right back. About a month ago they quite supporting the old version so I had to switch. I've tried getting used to it and gave it some time. It still sucks big time. I have yet to find one function that is better or easier to use. They say they did it to make uploads to twitter and FB easier. I could give a rats a$$ about either. I'm about to find a new place to store my pics and they can kiss my $25.00 a year goodby!!

A lot of sites are going to formats best suited for uploadiing to the likes of FB, Twit and scrolling on a cell phone.

We pc users are a doomed lot.

If you're paying $25/yr for the 'unlimited' storage be sure to request them to turn-off the auto renew. Otherwise you'll be saying good bye to your money.

Yep, I cancelled last week - don't like it at all. NOT user friendly.

X3 on all the above. They did just make a revision about a week ago that helped me a little but they still have a long way to go. For me, The only reason i used them was to resize my pictures. Now you can set it up to resize them as they upload and you don't have to do each picture manually.

X2. Irfan View is great. I use it all the time.

Oh, I too hate the new Photobucket. But it's free so I guess I can't complain too much.

What is Irfan View and is it available cross border?
The only thing I can say + about the new PB is my uploads are a lot faster. Other than that I don't like it at all. Didn't delete anything though because some of my posts have links to PB for photos. Remember that before cancelling or dropping it. You will blank out any images that may have value to other members of this site.

I don't even care about the free part. I gladly paid for the service. Now you can't even do simple right click on a photo to get its address. You have to go through 3 steps just to get a simple link.

You can't arrange the photos within an album any more.

If you are loading multiple pics at once it populates them in the order it wants not the order they were in your album.

If wanting to post a bunch of pics to say an EBAY auction before I could copy a address for a pic and then past the same address over and over then just go back and change one number in the address to go to the next pic. Now each picture has a completely different address. Before I could upload 100 pics to an ebay auction in less than 10 min. Now I bet it would take more than 2 hours. Just last night I uploaded, resized and posted 11 concepts pics of my 54 project here. That was a 2-3 min process before and it now took me almost 30 min.

I could go on and on but bottom line is its terrible.

I'mjust ectatic they brought back the pages at the bottom. For the last few months, I had to continue to page down to find a 4 year old pic on page 20. At least now I can go directly there.

Another point of view on the new PB :

As someone that tends to be a saver when I see something that catches my eye ...

That is now a nightmare as well.

None of the bulk/batch stuff that I use will download the full size pics of complete albums anymore.
