Changing PS pump pressure for improved road feel

Just looking for your views on a someday project...

Some of you may recall I have two 66 big cars: summer convertible 98 and a winter Starfire (no leaks...).

Anyway the steering effort is very different since I had the PS pump modified for improved road feel years ago with a quick ratio box. Great fix, invisible and much more modern steering.

However on the S/f I have a stock PS pump with the quick ratio box. It's much "lighter" and I'd like it to be firmer, like the 98.

I have a spare pump sitting in the basement waiting for a little attention and thought that since I have the unit out, it's a great time to change the pump pressure if that's what it needs. I suspect it's a spring in the back near the high pressure outlet, but don't know more. These are the early style large pumps used from maybe 60 - 67 or so, not the smaller later ones.

Can any of you offer suggestions about the fix? For example would a stiffer spring or lighter spring raise pump pressure. Or am I actually looking to lower it?
