The eastern part of North America is more humid so they usually get more snow. In Alberta today it was around 7C and everything is melting. As far as I'm concerned, bring on Spring, I've had enough of winter.

Well it was 7C here yesterday and more of that weather today. Most of the snow is gone , just the big piles left and some out in the woods. my lawn is bare and flowers are starting to pop up out of the ground. I should have crocuses soon.

In my part of the world we're having a very dry winter. Precip is running about 60% of normal for this time of the year. It's spring though with the weather going back and forth from good to bad. Yesterday afternoon was sunny and it hit the low 60's but a cold front is predicted Monday that may put snow on the valley floor. We've had nothing like you guys in the East and North, but I'm still looking forward to long sunny days!
