83 Hurst Authenticity

Hello all,

I am looking at a 83 Hurst. The driver side door where the sticker listing tire size etc. is supposed be...is there but the information is missing. I'm not sure if it just faded or was deliberately erased/blacked out. Hard to tell. Should I be concerned now...or for future value etc.? I am not that familiar with the Hurst so I'm not sure how much having or not having this sticker really matters. Many thanks.

I believe that the 8th character in the vin must be a "9", I know that it is for the 1984 H/O.

Those door stickers rarely held up... mine was unreadable when I got the car at 89k miles and 19 years old. If the car has 1000 miles and is a complete show car? Sure it will hurt the value a bit. If the car is your average nice driver or a condition 2 car, won't be a big deal.
